I wonder when Northerner will finally put this up for sale? Everyone else has beat them to the party.

Nick and Johnny Strong is my favorite snus, but I will not be trying this one because white portions suck.

I understand how some could hate whites. Hell, I do too when it comes to most brands (I.E. Ettan, Grov, etc.) because they shame the great name of the original portions. But General White improves on General in all ways possible for me when it comes to the taste department. Are they uncomfortable sometimes? Yeah. But I LOVE white portions in the star formation. Those are the perfect fit for me and rarely become uncomfortable. General White comes in the star formation. So will this. I've never had N&J Black. I must try this snus ASAP.

A solid snus similar to N&J Original portions. The flavor is more subtle in the beginning, and comes on strong after about 10-12 min, typical of all white portions I've tried. Then, just plain slimy after 45 min (time to spit it).

Got a couple cans in my last order and have had one of these in near constant for the last two days. So far this is the only one other than Onyx that actually makes my mouth water when I think about it. It has the peppery tones of Onyx (My go to snus), but seems like less bergamot, and a subtle spiciness to it I don't notice in other Swedish Match products. These also last a long time for me. It take a few minutes to get the flavors rolling. Stats out peppery with a spicy flavor in the background, and slowly moves into the typical Swedish Match tobacco/salt flavor at the end.

I left one in for about 3 hours, it was so good I forgot it was in there!

In my ever changing taste buds of snus, this one is #2 in my current top 5.

Last year I went through a sterk/strong portion phase. My nicotine standard was so high that I got to the point where I couldn't enjoy regular portions because I was chainsnusing sterks all the time. I gradually began to back it down and got to the point where I use 90%-95% regular portions with a sterk on occasion. That being said, I like the way Swedish Match does their nicotine content. The middle ground that Nick and Johnny falls into is just that little extra I need from time to time. Granted, sometimes I do reach for the 17mg-19mg superstrong portions, but for the most part when I need a little extra I find a Nick and Johnny (at 11mg of nicotine per portion), General Sterk (also 11mg), or a General Onyx (also, 11mg) to be right up my alley. That little kick of nicotine that is just a tad stronger than a regular portion works for me. I also prefer White Portions, so when I heard the unique taste of Nick and Johnny was coming to a white portion, I was pretty excited.

One thing you'll notice is that the white portions are arranged in the familiar General star pattern, which I believe all their white portions are being arranged in now. I think they're doing Ettan this way too, although I'm not 100% on that. Nick and Johnny Black is out and has been remade into Nick and Johnny White. Baby, it doesn't matter if your black or white - you know I still love your rich taste. For those unfamiliar - a black portion is the same as a white portion - just in a different color bag. Now, about this snus. The aroma of citrus is very present with a spicy kick wrapped around it. This comes through in the flavor as well. Nick and Johnny is one that isn't short in the flavor department. There's alot going on when it comes to flavor of this snus. The citrus flavor isn't the most predominant flavor as you would expect, this being something most of us have grown to expect from a traditional flavored snus. Nick and Johnny White has a great flavor balance with leathery tones, earthy flavors, and a pleasant smokey tobacco taste as well tied together with a mild salt balance and a spicy kick to it. The citrus flavor is present, but balanced. It's a really unique snus if you haven't had the chance to try it yet. Great new snus from Swedish Match!

Sounds pretty tasty. I got two cans of N&J Black from Northerner as a promo once, and they were delicious. N&J Black was one of my favorite stronger brands of snus. I think I'm going to pick up some N&J White along with my next order!

Isn't this the same as the Black, but just with a white pouch material?
I got 2 cans of this in my last order, because I'd never had it, and thought I'd like it.
Well, it's pretty good, but from my memory, it reminds me of Onyx a lot. Very lemony, I think that's what it is.
It's decent, but I think I'd like it less lemony.

I ordered a roll of this on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised! I have always liked General Sterk, but this one is better in the flavor department. Slightly more citrus than G Sterk, although less than Onyx. About as peppery as General, plus hints of licorice, salt and smoke. Like a mixture of General Sterk, Onyx, Lucky Strike white, and Grov Black. All in all, this may be the most "balanced" snus out there. The strength is just about right, too. Strong enough to satisfy, and weak enough to chain-snus (never got any headaches from this, unlike General ES or Skruf Stark).

Strength: 10/10 (11 mg is the perfect level)
Flavor: 9/10 (only LS white is better)
                        Quality control: 10/10 (Swedish Match!)
                        Pouch material: 9/10
Pouch size: 10/10 (I like the standard size)
Design: 8/10 (brings back the 70s, but I like that decade, even though brown, white and orange is not something I would wear)

NJSW has been my go to snus for several months and since I have another 50 cans in the freezer (thanks PACT!) I hope it never turns on me.

                            I love this stuff.

If it turns on ya, Tex, I'll help you out.

N&J and Grov are all I need to survive. Oh, and most likely water.
