Offroad Eucalyptus White Portion

The boys at V2 have scored another winner with Eucalyptus white portions. For me this was my first straight Eucalyptus snus (without mint or some other flavor added). In many ways though it is similar in profile to a mint (maybe that is because many of the "cool mint" snuses and candies have a touch of the Eucalyptus in them). That said, while OR Eucalyptus may be similar to a mint snus it is not the same. It is less sweet, less chewing gum like, and more herbal in note. It's like an adult mint.

The tobacco flavor is there and together with the salt contribute nicely to balancing out the Eucalyptus element resulting in a nice balanced flavor.

The portion material is again top notch, soft, and just right on the moisture for a white. The Nicotine is standard for a regular portion.

Bottom line: if you are a fan of mint snus and want something less desert and more all day or if you have never had a Eucalyptus snus, give OR Eucalyptus a try. You might find it is just what you have been looking for.

I love the portion material. It's rolled out on V2's new white portion machine which makes one hell of a white portion!

This is a good one. I didn't know what to expect from it, but I was really hoping that it wouldn't be to sweet, and it isn't. You can taste the tobacco clearly with the eucalyptus, very nice blend. I am not one for mint snus at all, but this one is not mint! Since I have only used a few portions so far, I'm not sure where this will land in my rotation, but it will make the 'few times a week' snus at the very least. I am looking forward to opening my can of catch eucalyptus and seeing how the two compare.

Eucalyptus is the one flavor that does not work to me...I like mint and other flavored snus, but I can not take the medicinal quality of eucalyptus....Like vaporub.. It was hard to finish a can of this.....RED

Taste: Sharp, medicinal, menthol-like, almost burns at first. Very good flavor, but not something I think most people could use often. Definitely a good pallete cleanser though.

This snus kicks butt. The flavor is right on like snusdog and the others said. the quality of the portions is very pleasing. And the new can design is cool, and I aappriciate the catch lid.

Now I want to see an Offroad Original White portion done this way please V2

Catch has a very, upfront menthol taste that quickly wanes into just a salty tobacco with slight Eucalyptus taste to it. Offroad lets the eucalyptus do it's thing more. Can/portion material is basically a tie, but I think the Offroad just gives the Euca flavor more of a stage to shine on. It's also considerably less salty in my opinion.

Great and refreshing snus. Tobacco and eucalyptus blends well in this one.

My first "Budget Brand" snus. I can see why. The portion quality in comparison to oden, Jakob, or any of Swedish matches products is definitely a lower quality.

The snus it self smells heavenly. Nice strong burn to go with them as well.
