So this one is a very hard snus to review. I mean, who the hell really knows what a lingenberry or whatever the heck it is tastes like? Maybe it is a popular flavor in other parts of the world, but who knows. I was originally introduced to this flavor through the regular thunder blue flavor years ago. I recall liking it in a strange way, even though it tasted like windex. With the new crom blue, I can still reflect back on that windex flavor, but to me it doesn't taste near as much like chemicals as I recall its counterpart tasting.

It has a kindof tart berry flavor to it that I remember in the original, and reminds me still a little bit like windex, but to me it doesn't taste much like a chemical flavor. The portions are very wet as it seems is the norm for the series. Really I can't say much except: If you haven't tried thunder blue, giving a can a try might be a good idea. This is really like NOTHING you have ever tasted before, hence making it really hard to describe. If have tried and enjoyed the flavor of thunder blue, you will love this, I have no doubts about that. This really isn't a very descriptive review, and I am sorry about that, but nothing tastes like thunder blue, you may love it or hate it, but I can't think of any way to really describe it.

I will be looking forward to hearing your impressions on it, as the blue king of snuson. I hope you can shed a bit more light on the flavor than I have.

Well, I've spent some time today alternating between phantom blue portions and thunder chrome blue portions in an attempt to pinpoint any differences for you.

The first and most notable difference is that the Thunder chrome (as well as standard thunder blue) seem to have a slight cooling effect under the lip whereas the phantom does not.

The portions on the chrome are significantly wetter than that of the phantom which allows for an almost instant release of flavor. This may be where you are finding it sweeter. I do not note a significant difference, but rather get an instant burst of juniper.

Of course, the thunder lines also use a higher grade of tobacco which gives the line a more robust, well-rounded flavor with more nicotine and a longer-lasting lip time.

I am loving the long+ format. It is a welcome addition to my all-time favorite flavor.
