Thunder Wintegreen Ekstra Stark Portion

Got around to trying this. Better then Generals, but not as good as Jacks. Nic hit is really good, but that's because it has Thunder in the name! I prefer the sweeter Jacks, but this one doesn't burn like Generals, and doesn't fall apart either.

Overall, Thunder Wintergreen comes in a close second to Jakobssons ...
which is good 'cause you have the choice of sweet/not-so-sweet depending on your mood.

I didn't like this at all. The taste of wintergreen is overpowering. No tobacco flavor. Couldn't finish one can. We have a bubblegum here in Sweden called "Jenka", it tasted just like this.

I haven't tried but but I do like offroad and jax wintergreen. I'm just worried about it being ekstra sterk. I only do es in Los. :P

Just got a can of WG a few days ago, I must say the smell is not as strong as the other Thunder series, as is the taste. The initial burn, when I first popped in a portion, really brought a tear into the eye :P but now I must say the burn isn't that bad.
It's very refreshing, right in the morning
The smell is also very catchy, I really like it.
If I would rate it, I'd say it's about 8/10.

I've had a cold or flu for the last week, so I am sure that will have an effect, anyway, I just opened a can of Thunder Wintergreen Pouches, and popped one in. First thing I notice is the burn, it's actually kinda hurtin'. But I am a masochist, so I'll keep with it. Having a cold/flu, opening the can, and smelling, it has a wintergreen smell, not super strong, but I can tell what it is. I'm really not a wintergreen fan, and have tried 2 wintergreen dips, and both cans did not get emptied. I do like the smell of it, and those Lifesaver candies are OK. I'm sick, and took some medicine, so I hope this don't give me a heart attack, but I feel like I am feeling a nic rush now. I do think my nic tolerance is pretty high, since using dip quite a bit, I haven't had a sterk snus regularly in while, not counting the one Thunder Berry I had yesterday. I feel like I want to lay down and go to sleep, so this being sick review I am sure is lacking. But so far, this is not bad, and I think it's not bad, because the flavor is more on the subtle side, and not sweet. The way I think of it right now, is, it's OK.

Should I be worried about the smell of this stuff I know it's fresh but it smells of foot or a little rot or ammonia. It doesn't taste bad but I'm still getting used to the idea that it doesn't have any sweetness at all. I think the yucky camel wintercrap is junk but if this were a 16th as sweet it would be better I think. I'll keep at it though it does get me incredibly intoxicated. I'd have had to stick a whole can of camel in my mouth to get the nick kick this gives.

It's as though a white rivulet is shooting up one side of my face through my cheek over my vibrating eye to froth and fizzle in my head like an eager infection. delightful, really.

I love it.. I have a daily routine where first thing in the morning I pop in a Jaks's wintergreen as a pick me up.. Take it out to brush/eat and pop it back in.. I love the flavor wish they made a regular strength version I'd use it more often.

I don't know about this one guys. I have two cans of it, since I used to love wintergreen dip, but it is just not as good as some of the other flavored snuses out there. Honestly I think it tastes like medicine. It is strong, and satisfies the nic cravings quite well but its definately not one of my go to snusses. Sticking to the general es los and the skruf es los for all my es needs. Might have one portion of this a week, and I usually regret it do to the awful medicine taste. Maybe I'm just weird, but I don't think this one is for me.

I love the taste, and I detect some sort of pepper in it :O, wierd I know...
The nicotine level is perfect, and so too is the taste. I always keep this one in my rotation.
I like it when I'm gaming.

Thunder Wintergreen is not very sweet. The flavor is not "in your face" like Jakobssons but when I first got it I thought there was no flavor at all. After using it for a while the subtle wintergreen does come through and I am starting to like it. I use it when I want nicotine but not quite as much as Frosted has. They are both listed at 16 but Frosted hits me harder for some reason? Keep at it you will probably start to enjoy it. If you don't find it sweet enough take a swig og Lemon Lime Gatorade. They go together great.

Muddyfunkstar sent me this in the post as he didn't want it. It's not one I've been attracted by as I play safe and just get Thunder Frosted all the time because I know it's excellent.

Opened the can and WOW - mouthwash. I thought "this is going to be a difficult tin to get through".
This fortunately is not the case - it's very much a grower and a quick grower at that. It doesn't taste as strong as it smells, the nic as usual with Thunder is great and weirdly - really weirdly, I quite like it.
It's not one I'd go to frequently though.

Just imagine Listerine and you've got it.

This will sound odd but this was one of the ideas I had for replacing my Offroad WG longcut. I would lower lip it for the the similar taste/nic hit without the mess.

I just received a roll. Great. This is like my first roll of Thunder WG: very moist, strong, and flavorful. My 2nd roll, however, was dry as ...hmm....bark. That was
more than a year ago. I didn't want to risk ordering something that was either the best or the worst snus on the market. But then I read here on the forum somewhere that v2's snus is moist snus again, and I decided to give the guys at v2 a second chance.

What i hope now is this: v2 has discovered quality control; I got a quality-controlled roll; Thunder WG will stay exactly the same as now (and I hope all the other Thunders are similar.....I used to like Thunder original and frosted too).

In that case, I will order Thunder again and again and again (also because I want to support SM competitors).
