Thunder Berry Blend Ekstra Stark Portion

I tried a can of this, and I absolutly love the flavor of it, but for some reason it causes my acid reflux to flare up in very bad way. This is the only snus I've used that does this including other thunder and V2 products.

I still recommend it since it is so darn tasty.

Just tried this for the first time and to me it tasted like pure raspberry. That's a good thing for me. I had a few flashbacks to being like 5 years old picking raspberries fresh in my grandma's backyard. It tasted very fresh and natural to me, almost like I could taste those tiny black seeds in the berries.

The nicotine hit me REALLY hard. I found it a bit drippy, which was ok with the flavor, but I definitely had the nicotine burn in my throat. I'm sure I'll get used to the burn though, because unless the flavor turns on me this is going to be an everyday (just not every portion, lol) snus.

Nothing negative except that sometimes
it does drip a bit too much, but the flavor
more than makes up for that.

It would be great to have a hi-potency
mini version for those discreet moments!

btw, it goes great with many of the Izze
Sparkling Fruit beverages.

I tried one of these last night and one this morning. It tastes like someone dumped a package of unsweetened kool-aid all over my snus. I still have not decided if that's a good or a bad thing. It doesn't have the "feel" of a sterk. I'm not craving, but I just feel like I'm missing something. I actually feel more of an initial hit with 6mg Oomphs and more long term nicotine flow from several varieties of regular strengths. Although the portions feel moist, I did not experience dripping. The flavor seems to fade faster than other flavored portions I have tried, and when the flavor goes, it really goes --in a sour and bitter direction. I think I'll throw it in the freezer and come back to it again in a couple of weeks.

I bought that V2 special of Thunder, and Thunder Berry was one I got a 5-roll of.
This snus is great. I like the taste, and it goes well with coffee, soda, beer. And the portions seem well made, and the can I have open now, is fine.

As for the Thunder Original, I think V2 fell off the wagon, they used to be great, and if you got a wet can, it was really great. But my new ones I got are dried up, and kinda crappy.

I wish I'd gotten a 10-roll of the Berry instead.

I love fresh berries. Blue, rasp, black, straw, cran, lingon......delicious.

I usually hate all things mixed berry. Drinks, candy......and I never had a good experience with berry tobacco....until today.

I love Thunder berry blend...it is very good.

Offroad Cranberry Los was one of my top 5 for many years now. I had tested this back during initial production and enjoyed it quite a bit, however, i wasn't big on portions at that time. Now that Offroad Cranberry los is no more, I decided to revisit thunder berry.

When I got back from work today and found my roll of Thunder Berry (amongst some other rolls), it was the first one I went for (yes, even before my Phantom Blue loose!). It is definitely different than my beloved cranberry los, however, the things that I loved are still there. It has a nice berry flavor, but not sickeningly sweet. I wish I could get it as a los, but I will make due. I'm glad I ordered a roll. I will be using this regularly.

Just amazing. Lately I have been leaning toward natural tobacco flavors but this was a nice change up. Decent drip. Great taste. But the flavor doesnt last that long.

Offroad Cranberry loose, IMO, i really didn't care for. I thought it had a medicine taste, almost like cough syrup. It's what made me shy away from Thunder Berry Blend. When I did finally try it, I was pleasantly surprised! First, the scent from the can was my first indication that this would not be like Offroad Cranberry. When you first open the can, you get the smells of Cherries and Raspberries mixed with the subtle hints of the earthy tobacco that almost gives the overall smell a sweet raisin/berry compote. (Sorry, was a chef in another life.) :-)

The flavor on the other hand, is something completely different. Knowing that the majority of Thunder flavors are pretty intensely flavored, I had a preconceived notion that this snus would be pretty strongly flavored. I was wrong! While the flavor can be tasted the minute you put the portion in your lip, it's not as intense as say, Thunder Frosted. The flavor profile is also much different than the scent profile. While you can smell the sweet Cherries and Raspberries, you really don't smell any other berry, once you have it in your lip though, Cherries, Raspberries and Strawberries start to come thru. The only way I can accurately describe the flavor is to think of a mix of these three berries, add a touch of sugar and eat them with a plain tobacco flavored snus. Sounds crazy but, I've tried this and have come pretty close to the same flavor of Thunder Berry Blend. The flavor lasts pretty long as well. I've had one in for about 2 hours before the portion turned a bit bitter but, I figure that's pretty good for a snus that was designed to only be used for an hour max.

With the Nicotine being at 16 mg. per portion, you would think you would not only feel it but, also feel a burn in the back of your throat. Not so with this snus. While you do feel the Nicotine hit, I've experienced no throat burn at all with Thunder Berry Blend. My overall thoughts on Thunder Berry Blend is this; if you haven't tried it, do so! It's a great after dinner snus or for when you want something different. New Extra Stark snus users will like it since the throat burn associated with ES snus is pretty much non existant.

Been using this snus quite often, and I must say, it's great.
The portion material feels very soft on the gums and I can easily leave it in for 2 hours without discomfort. As soon as I put it in it tastes like a medley of berries in my mouth (strawberry, cherry, cranberry, and others). Salty and delicious. No overpowering sweet taste. No vitamin taste. No gross cough syrup taste. After having in it for about 30 minutes, it starts to drip a bit, but not too much. It's a fair drip that doesn't burn the throat at all really. (and I'm new to extra starks!) After about an hour in I can sometimes get a hint of honey within the berry goodness. Not every time though. The flavor lasts for quite a bit, but sometimes not as much as I'd like. Regardless, I find myself reaching for this stuff quite often.

Its hard to day what hadn't been said about THUNDER BERRY BLEND..
Here goes

I tried tbb pre pact, at that time I thought it was OK, however I was smoking tons of cigarettes atthe time.
Fast forward
Years later

Can design very basic as most of the thunder lineup.

The scent I get is blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry.

The snus is quite a value for its quality.

To me the portions are very moist, the berry flavor is a great change if pace from basic tobacco flavors that I normally love.
The portion material is on par with what seems to be industry standard.

Taste really good, berry all the way.. strangely I taste in the background a mild mentholated taste that is easy to miss however its there not sure why??
Overall if sold in a 9mg portion this would be a keeper taste wise.

Great value, long lasting berry flavor that delivers the nicotine we all enjoy in a strong portion
Good product IMHO
