I was afraid to try this, based on some negative reviews I had read. I even had a can which I hadn't tried, but threw it in the Hellbox because I was certain I would not like it. But I then got some in an exchange, as I wanted to try it and regretting getting rid of my can. Well, I quickly emptied the can, because this stuff is really good. It does have a smell that is like Windex, but I didn't think it was bad or overpowering. The snus in the mouth though was really good. It is not sweet, but does have a sweetish berryness to it. It's really good, I thought, and was reaching for it all the time. I also cannot call this a "flavored" snus, it's sorta on the fence, it's not berry(or whatever) flavored, but it has a subdued fruity essence. I greatly liked this.

I really enjoy this one. All snus seems to have a cleaning fluid taste and smell. General still smells like ammonia to me, but I love it! And yes, phantom blue does have a windex smell/flavor, but I think the reason for this is the high ph of snus. I would go with the los over the portions though.

For the price, I wanted to like this. After 3 portions, I was forcing myself to like this. I just couldn't. I find myself tossing this from my mouth when it started juicing after 15 minutes. After my 4th portioned, I bagged up the rest of the can and threw it in the freezer.
Maybe one day I might revisit.

Phantom Blue and Brown are pretty unique in that respect, and serve to be acceptable Goat Rape and Ettan replacements in terms of flavour profile.
I used to be very anti-V2 based on a couple of bad experiences in the early days of snussing, but I've totally changed my mind since giving the full range a proper go. They make perfectly good snus.

I've been a Phantom Blue fan for quite some time now and have to say, that the flavor of today's Phantom Blue and the original batches have changed quite dramatically over the years. The first batches had, like most folks have stated, an extreme "Windex" type of scent. Today's batches are much different. The scents of earth, evergreen from the Juniper, and an almost slight dark chocolate smell are in the can. to me, quite pleasant and makes it much easier for me to get new snusers to give it a try. In the past, when I would offer a friend to try a portion they would say "smells like Windex.....no way!"
The flavor profile has also changed from the first batches. Those batches had a flavor that was unmistakably Lemon. I know......it's described as having a Juniper flavor but I've tasted Juniper in just about every form and can tell you that the flavor in the old batches was, Lemon. A sweet lemon flavor to be exact that I compare it to the Lemonheads candy. I really liked it but it seemed that I was one of a few snus users that did. Today's batches are completely different IMO.
The Phantom Blue of today has a much more subdued flavor than that of the first releases. What I taste is a mix of earthy, peppery tobaccos, the light Evergreen like taste of the Juniper, a lightly sweet hint of citrus and a touch of salt. Completely different from the Phantom Blue of years past. The intensity of the flavor has changed as well. In the past, Phantom Blue's flavor was quite extreme, almost like the Thunder brands profile. Today's version is much lighter and the portions are not as wet. Overall, I really like the Phantom Blue version of today but at times, do miss the old version. If you haven't tried the recent Phantom Blue, I highly suggest giving it another shot. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised. :-)
