I am not an experienced user of loose, so take this with that in mind.

The only thing I can really tell you about this is I had a very hard time using my prismaster with it. The long, grainy cut of the tobacco would seem to lend itself to hand-making a pris, but others may have learned a 'trick' or two using tools with it.

Needless to say, I don't like hand baking so i never got much of a chance to give a flavor review. ops:

I find this longcut gives me a much faster nicotine fix then using any sterk snus traditionally in the upper lip.
Compared to American dip or Swedish Match dip this stuff does not have that fire cured taste. It has a light wintergreen taste with no sweetener. I wish there were more snus longcuts.

I am really liking this stuff. The flavor is great, if you like wintergreen, and you can control the nic deliver by how big a pinch you take (jumbo for me).

This is the first loose snus I've tried, and I'm impressed. I just ordered an assortment of others to see what else is out there, along with a prismaster.

        Edit:
Okay, I think I was too quick to review this one. Now that I have had a chance to try several other loose snus, I don't think this one compares well at all. The regular/fine cut Offroad wintergreen is much better imo, which doesn't really make sense to me since it would seem the only difference should be the cut.

If you use this long cut like a dip and put it loosely in your lower lip, you get a lot of juice but it's bitter tasting. Just out of curiosity, I bought a can of Kodiak dip, and wow, what a difference. This long cut isn't even in the same league as the intense wintergreen flavor from Kodiak. If you want something like dip, just get the real thing.

Now, if V2 would release a Thunder loose wintergreen, I would be a happy man.

          I like this snus.

Every so often I want a dip, but I won't use dip because it tears up my gums.

          Answer?

Offroad Longcut WG. It doesn't taste like dip, it tastes like wintergreen snus. It's good. I like a pinch in my lower lip every now and again and it hits the spot I'm looking for. I don't get much juice, never did on the bottom, and I rather enjoy it. I have never upper lipped this one, and I won't. I like it for what it is and how I decide to use it. It satisfies me, and that is all I need my tobacco to do.

As for a review? This is a great snus for me. I usually do not use v2 products, but this is one I will buy again and has made me want to revisit the brand. I see this as an occasional snus for the novelty of "dipping" it.

The flavor is good but not quite as intense as the regular OR Wintergreen Los, and the cut of it makes it impossible to use in an icetool or to hand bake. I never used dip but can see how some would use this in the lower lip instead of the upper lip since pinching seems about the only way to use this snus alone.

Someone mentioned tips for using it, and I have found one that works really well. I mix equal amounts of the longcut with the regular los snus and that makes it work a whole lot better in the icetool/pris master.

Not bad. Not great, either, but certainly worth a try. I'm not a big fan of wintergreen, and the tobacco tastes more bitter than it should, but it's interesting nonetheless.

It gives a much faster nicotine fix, for sure. The taste is good in my opinion, wish they could add more wintergreen flavor and less salt, because I use this as dip and the salt really fills my mouth.

I use about a tin or so of this a week and have found that the quality varies. The best is always from Buysnus and the absolute worst was from GetSnus back in the day. Also, I think it is much more vulnerable to exposure compared to portions and fine los snus in loss of freshness after opened.
