Offroad Cranberry Los. A plain, ordinary can of Offroad sits before me. Nothing remarkable about it. Upon opening it, I am instantly greeted by the fresh smell of cranberries and tobacco. My mighty Prismaster packs a perfect pris. I instantly notice that this stuff is juicy. My mouth instantly waters at it, and I eagerly place the pris in my left upper lip. Just like all los, it burns for me in the beginning. But then, I find the burn is worth it, especially with this one. For all the shit that is talked on Offroad, this one disproves the naysayers for me. The taste of quality tobacco is prevalent. Underneath, slight notes of tart cranberries. Let's drop the formal "review language" for a sec - this stuff kicks major ass. Puffing my cheeks gives me a momentary burst of cranberry flavor. Not too much salt, not too much cranberry, just perfect, perfect flavor. Along with Ettan and Roda, this makes me wanna los all the time.
Packaging: 4/10 (Who cares)
Flavor: 10/10 (My first 10!)
Grind: 8/10
Quality: 7/10 (Juicy high-quality snus goodness).
Potential as an everday snus: 9/10
Buy it. Even if you're a portion user.

Very earthy tobacco taste with a hint of cranberries with a smooth menthol ride at the end. Very enjoyable indeed.
Yes the packaging is nothing to praise 5/10
Flavor would be 10/10
grind well as i am a V2 whore i will give it a 10/10
Quality 9/10 could be a bit better but i'm not complaining
Potential everyday snus 10/10 it is in my daily rotation.

I don't agree with it being menthol flavored. This is the only can of snus that I have to keep in my pocket because I love it warm. It is one of the first los that I have tried and will continue to buy. It has been a little while since I have had it but I talked about it so much that I remember why enjoyed it so much. The grind is not that good, courser than Ettan los. I like a fine grind so I can bring a little bit down with my tongue and it is not so harsh on the gums. What I really like is the flavor. The nic hit for this one does not really matter that much for me because I like the taste so much. Well, why do I warm it up you say? When it is warm it has the great taste of cranberries, some sweetness that you would not get with most traditional snus and a lot of mild chocolate flavor that comes through the whole time you have it in your mouth. One of my forgotten favorites since I have been buying rolls at a time and only throwing in two can per roll that I buy. I will get this on my next order and enjoy something that I have missed because I have gone mainly to portions. Too bad for me to have given up something like this for so long.

Thanks for the reviews guys. I'm tempted to give OR Cranberry a try. I'm curious, how do the OR Cranberry fans feel about other v2 products? The only V2 products I've tried are Phantom brown, blue and OR Original. IMO Blue was better than Brown and Original better still, but I didn't really care for any. On the other hand, I love Grov, Roda, General and Skruff stark (still trying to decide which is my favorite out these). Does anyone still think I should give OR Cranberry a shot?
TIA

Upon my first go with OR Cranberry loose, I am impressed! This is the first los snus that I'm having trouble keeping my tongue from dabbing at in seeking out the sweet slightly tart burny flavor. I also like the 'cut' and seemed to form a really nice prilla with my 5ml syringe tool which is staying nicely in place so far 20 min.s in even whilst poking my tongue beneath it.
This is my first go at anything Offroad. If their others are any bit like this, I think they will have another fan!
4/5 for pure satisfaction thus far!

Maybe I'll try a can. I'm just wondering if I'd be wasting my time. Does anybody who LOVES los brands like Grov, Ettan, Roda, Skruff or General like anything V2 makes? So far I'm very unimpressed with what I've tried. I put the Phantom Blue back in the freezer after a couple of pris (what's the plural?) later I went back to it and it was OK. Kind of nice break after my 7th Roda (or whatever I was using that day). But that is all. My taste buds aren't there yet to give a good review. Hell, I haven't even been able to decide which I like best of the ones I've mentioned, but the best I can say is I don't taste any tobacco. The flavor I do taste, in the Blue, is pleasant but it doesn't satisfy like that kick, tingle and tobacco taste I get from those previously mentioned. I think the Blue reminds me a lot of Gotlands yellow. There are many brands I've yet to try, but I'm wondering if I've already found the ones I'd like or if I should even bother with any more V2 brands? Sorry, don't mean to hijack this thread, just looking for a little input from some V2 fans.
Thanks

Another poster described the scent and taste of cranberry in this snus as mouth watering and it is. The cranberry blends with, but does not over power the taste of tobacco to provide a gustatory symphony of snussing pleasure. As a long time Cope user who always smirked at people who use the skoal brands that smell like some high school girl's bubble gum, I'm almost ashamed to say I love this flavored tobacco but it's really that good.By the by, this cranberry flavor taste's like cranberry, not some bubble gum rendition of the real thing.

I remember trying the portions and thought they where okay, but nothing special. Finished the can but never bought anymore. I reached way back in the freezer and found a forgotten can of this. As usual it seems with Offroad the los is a good deal better then the portions. On the lower end of the nicotine scale but the flavor is very good indeed. To bad it's out of production as I would use a can of this on occasion. I vote V2 bring this one back from the dead.... along with Offroad Coffee Vanilla.
