Not only because I'm from western Pennsylvania, but also because I would say with the loss of my icetools, I hillbilly lös 100% of the time. Huge pinches. More than hillbilly--hellbilly. Looks like I'm trying to hide a robin's egg. Hand baking is for sissies and people who hold their pinkies out while they sip their kopi luwak. Who else enjoys the rich flavor and satisfying nic hit of the hellbilly pinch?
I'm a hellbilly

I only hillbilly pinch los. It's faster, easier, more discreet, and tastes better. In Scandinavia, most people use los this way. I wonder why the hand baking method is so popular?
In the Kalla Fakta episode on snus, there's a guy who takes a HUGE pinch of Grov. It was probably 25% of the can.

If I have the time and am sitting down(not driving), I will bake a prilla. Otherwise, I just do a pinch and kind of bake it a little with my teeth and tongue before stuffing it up there. I don't do real big ones, but I notice there is a sweet spot, too small and it doesn't last as long, too big and same thing, starts breaking up after an hour or so.
Does anyone else roll it over to the other side to get a burst of flavor? I notice just sliding it over there doesn't work as well. When i move it over by rolling it slowly with my tongue, and end up with it upside down on the other side, it refreshes the flavor, and also ends up being a lot more together, since the part that was packed up against the gum is now down by the teeth. Can't do it often, or it falls apart, but two or three times during the 1-2 hours I keep it in works out fine.

I usually handbake. I've gotten really good at it. I can do it in a few seconds sitting at a traffic light. I like to keep it in for an hour and I like the slower release of nicotine over a longer period of time. If I billy it, it doesn't last as long. Sometimes that's what I want but not usually.
