    Another snus milestone..

I attempted my first "hillbilly pinch" with my Ettan los upper deck and it worked! Well not perfectly, about 20 percent of it dropped right down in my mouth but other than that it's keeping it's shape perfectly. Yeah I had my ghetto tool and was thinkin I don't need this crap grabbed a pinch and shoved it right in there. No handbaking or anything. I'm amazed how it's keeping together perfectly like I did use the syringe.. If you haven't tried it yet give it a shot. Worse thing that can happen is mud mouth!

Ya, it's good for a quickie pris. I usually bake a tiny bit, but that's just to get the pieces stuck together so I can throw it in my mouth. I always tuck it up with my tongue, and a completely unbaked pris would be tough I think.

Congrats, I haven't tried any hillbilly pinches yet. I'm happy with handbaked prillas.

Congrats Eric, Your doing better than me, I love my IceTool and even with it sitting there.. I did try the hillbilly pinch awhile back feeling cockey and confident and was a complete failure, I will have to give it a go again soon.. I did do a quick handbake last week though and worked pretty well and noticed an immediate nic hit and flavor before the mudslide..

Thanks guys!! I just attempted hand baking again, first time I tried it couple months back didn't work out to well, this time the pris came out perfect.. The hillbilly I did earlier was good hit really fast.. Now with this pris it's more controlled flavor is releasing slower which is really nice, along with the nic.. I think my ghetto tool is going in the trash. I only used it because of my first handbaking attempt was a big disaster with the mudslide. I got a few different cans of los in the freezer I can't wait to try. Skruf stark, gote rape, roda lacket, grov.. I'm thinking los will be my goto at home, portions for out and about.

The ghetto tool can be useful for portioning. I use it for that often so that I get the same amount of tobacco. I still have to insert it with Gotlands, Landstroms, and Tabocca most of the time. Other, more finely ground snus I reform in my hand but I feel the hillbilly pinch is too sloppy for me. I end up eating half the amount I take. Now, mind you, my stomach hasn't complained but for me, it's just not right.

The only Los I've tried so far is ettan and general, so don't know if I'll be good with the other brands. I'll hang on to the syringe just incase.

That's the way to do it properly ...

Just take a considerable pinch, and shove it under your lip (I usually need to fix it a little better) but it never falls on my teeth.

It takes a little practice to get the hang of it.

I'm not a big hillbilly lös user. It just doesn't stay put as long, I've in love with handbaking though.
