I have never had the yellow or green, but after trying the grey I am going to make it a point to get some more gotlands in my next order. The grey is delicious if you like licorice and I think it will become one of my staple snuses. This is the best flavored snus I have had so far. Then again I always liked pernod, an anise flavored liquer. Gotlands grey has almost exactly the flavor of pernod with a lemon twist.

Well my shipment came today, and as I type I have in a pris of Gotlands Grey los using my first prismaster and found it very easy and inexpensive. This is actually the first time I use los really. I love the grey. Nice taste, aroma and holds so well. No dripping at all and ive had it in for about 40 minutes now. Flavor holds well too. You can really taste the quality in this one. I still have to try the rest of the Gotlands which i ordered portions of...yellow and green. I got ettan los and they threw in a free goteborgs rape los too. (buysnus.com). This Gotlands snus is absolutely top notch so far. And of course I got my standard order of Wise 6mg citrus and regular.

How does everyone get free tins with their orders from buysnus? The only thing they ever sent me for free was a Buysnus.com pen, and that was because I ordered 10 cans. :?

I enjoy Gotlands very much, but it is not a snus that I can use all day, every day. I am eagerly awating the release of Jakobsonn's in hopes that I can shed my Swedish Match habit to a smaller snus company.

I have the same feeling towards Gotlands. It's my novelty snus right now. I got into Diplomat then Granit and would love an even smaller option. I love the part about there being fresh plants used in the production.

Well I tried all my Gotlands snus I ordered and IMO, it is the freshest tasting from all the snuses I have tried. It holds well, the portions don't drip at all, and the clean zesty flavor is refreshing. That company is doing something right.

Okay, so I've only ever used Gotlands Yellow in loose form. Do the portions taste the similar or is there a big difference between the two (i.e. Roda Lacket loose compared to portions). Just wondering because I've been using a lot of portions lately as school has started back up. I've been alternating between Knox and Goteborgs Rape portions on school days and was thinking about maybe adding Gotlands portions to the rotation.

Should I do it or will I be disappointed? The loose is my absolute favorite snus, tied for first with Grov loose. If the portions are a let down, I'd rather just avoid them. But if you guys think they're worth a shot, I'll most definitely put a few cans in my next order.

I would say Gotlands portions are definately worth a shot. I did love the grey los. It was fantastic. The yellow and green portions are good and they seem to be pretty decent in the nic punch. More so than other regular portion snuses, aside from the Skruf Stark and N&J. I always put 2 portions in though, so that is one reason maybe. But they smell good and clean. I would say all 3 have a great clean aroma and flavor. Apparently that company is small and quality control is pretty tight. As of course most Swedish snus companies too.

Yeah, the only Gotlands portions I've tried have been the green. I like them. The moisture content of the portions reminds me of Knox. Not so moist as to drip right away, but definitely not as dry as a white portion. Am I correct in assuming that the Yellow portions follow in a similar vein?

I'll definitely order a few cans whenever I order again (probably when Jakobssons makes it's debut).

Soft Morning City, your assumption is correct...the moisture content is perfect and I find it is increasingly becoming my default pick when having a indecisive snus moment.....

I can't wait to try the loose if you rate it that highly...

I find there's a big difference between the 2, but both are delicious in their own right. The lös has more of a fresh citrus character, and the portions are more herbal and evergreeny. I prefer the lös, but I would be very sad if the portions ceased to exist. I'll take a portion in preference to the lös on occasion due to the different character.
