I just got my order, 1 roll of Grovsnus regular portion, and a can of Goteborgs Rape los. I had only had Grovsnus 1 time and it was white portion. I think the regular portion Grov is going to be my every day snus. This stuff is excellent! I love good quality snus, it keeps me from smoking. This roll of Grov is really moist and fresh too
Grovsnus is one of my favorites

Grov loose is tied for first with Gotlands Yellow as my favorite loose snus. I love the texture and the dark straight up tobacco taste can't be beat. I've come to favor the brands with coarse grinds and Grov is definitely one of the crowning jewels of the "coarse" genre. I use it daily and I never get tired of it.
By the way, it's wonderful with coffee. Lucky Strike used to be my go-to snus when I'd be drinking coffee, but lately it's been Grov. I use L.S. when I'm sipping the black stuff out in public and Grov loose when I'm at home.

I've only had the loose, and loved it. if it were more finely ground, it would be my favorite, but as is, it's a single can order.
Since I've been using regular portions more often recently, how do the grov portions compare to my favorite - LS original.
Also, are there any mini portions that aren't white?

I have only tried the los, but it is definitely good. When i place my orders I usually bout 10-15 tins of different kinds. Usually a couple of the ones i really like. Grov is going to be one of those "couples" in my next orders. My favorite right now though is still probably gustavus. For some reason I just absolutely love it and always order a bunch of it.
Grov is A+ in my book though

I just had to bump this thread to express my new found love for Grov....
I've been using Gotlands Yellow portion and General Loose for a couple of weeks and opened up a can of Grov portions last weekend......WOW....
I will definitely be including a couple of cans in each order from now on....might even include some Grov loose...
Would it be sacrilegious to say that I think it rivals Ettan?
It's just perfect in so many ways.....with coffee, with whiskey, with red wine, with beer......

Yes, Grov Maxi did exist at one point. I got a can with my first sampler box from Northerner. I wish they were still around. I only got to experience that one can before it was discontinued. Rest assured, they were great. It was the only time I've ever used Grov in portions. I was going to try the regular portions, but then I found Grov loose and just stuck with that. I'll try the portions one of these days, as I'm sure they're excellent. But for now, I'll just stick with the loose. And if they ever bring back the maxi portions, I'll definitely be buying a roll.
