Regarding the Mint:

Is it sugary sweet like the Wintergreen is? Or is it more subdued in this new mint? I like their Wintergreen, but it's overly sweet drip is too much for constant usage for me.

Here's my Helpdesk query on 11/02/2010:

Q: If I purchase more than one of the bargains before the end of the buy period, will they ship together to save on shipping charges? Or do I have to pay base shipping rates on each separately?

A: You pay for each order separate, so that applies to the shipping charges as well. This due to the account reservations that we do on the bargains, we can not just authorize parts of the amount, its all or nothing.

Q: Let's say I order 2 separate bargains, one right after the other, and they are both active, they can't be combined to save on shipping?

A: No sorry its not possible I'm afraid.

As I said in another thread:

Noticed there's a big difference (in my case) in ordering 10 cans vs 15 or 25...

These totals include shipping & taxes:
10 cans = 51.60 total -- 5.16/can
15 cans = 70.57 total -- 4.70/can
25 cans = 109.52 total -- 4.38/can

They're still good deals but the taxes really suck!!


Too bad there's no option for a 50/50 split order!!
Like 5 or 8 or 13 or 25 of each...

This would bring the cost down a little but from what I
could determine it's still a good deal anyway and I know
I'll have enough to last a while. YMMV

As a compromise I'm going with 15 of each since I'm
really into the strong sterks!!

Unfortunately not, it has to do with our ability to release the reservation on your card in case a bargain doesn't become active. We can't release just part of a reservation. Wish we could...

Thought I would never say this but I just tried the Jak's Wintergreen for the first time the other day (Had ordered 1 tin upon a recommendation from Fredrik awhile back but been afraid to try it since I despise General Wintergreen) and I like it! I was more interested in the Strong Mint ... 1 portion so far and it is good.
Will have to compare it side-by-side with the Catch Mint (and also with
the Offroad Wintergreen, still unopened).

Now, the Strong Original .......... WOW!
I didn't think they could improve on the Original Original but this new Strong
recipe is more complex and the flavor is lasting without bitterness. Perfect
by itself but it also goes great with a craft brew. Kudos to Jakobsson's.

Never thought I would like anything as good as Thunder Frosted but the Jakk's mint is just as good and the Jakk's original is better than General ES because it doesn't dry out my mouth.
