General snus, anything like skoal citrus?

I hear that general has a citrus flavor, it's a snus ive been wanting to try. Does it taste anything like skoal citrus blend ?

I'd have to say no. If anything, General would be closer to something like Cope. Even that is a stretch, though. General is a little citrusy/lemony, but it's a more mature citrus taste. It's not a candy type taste like skoal tries to incorporate. Skoal citrus is overpowering like they're putting Pine-Sol in that crap, ha they might as well be . General's citrus taste was kinda unoticeable for me when I first tried it, but as the flavor came to me it started to become apparent. Snus has a recipe. Dip has any crap that they wanna put in it.

You aren't going to find anything as pound-you-betwixt-the-thighs sweet as Skoal Citrus. The closest in the snus world would be some of the fruity offroad flavors, which tend to have the sweetness of the Skoal fruits, but lack the punch, or the sourness perhaps.

That being said, General is quite niiice.

There is nothing on the face of the earth that could compare to skoal citrus. Snus flavors are quite subtle. In general, you will get a very little citrus undertone. "It is in there, really it is" is what you will have to tell yourself at first. Coming off skoal citrus, you would need to soak your snus in pure lemon juice and exhaust fumes to come even close to skoals flavor.

I used to dip cope snuff and skoal peach (for my fruit fix). My forst order of snus was offroad cranberry. While strong with the flavor, and considered in the snus world to be heavily flavored, it is truly subtle compared to skoal flavors. OR Cran tastes similar to if you were to chew a cranberry with a jaw packed with redman.
