I've been out of portions for a couple months and I have just a few cans of lös at home. Money has been too tight for me as well. What is really stupid is that I've been buying General locally even at $8.75 per can because of the old poor person mentality -- $10 a day is somehow easier than $100 every 10 days. Yesterday I went to the tobacconist and he was out of General OP and even WP. I ended up getting the General Mint for the first time. My first white portion in well over a year (oh except for that Roda, jagmanss), and goddammit if this snus isn't flat out gross. The sweetness of it makes me sick. I have one in right now. I need snus! On Wednesday, for real (I've been saying so for a while), I'm doing the Gold Membership and going for 50 cans of Thunder original and frosted, and some kind of lös. Obviously the best deal at $2 per can, as long as those 50 cans last.

I also re-upped for the Bronze package and got a roll of Thunder Berry and Jakobbson's Wintergreen (so much better deal VIP is).

Hey, I have several cans of Jakobbson's Ice Fruit if you want some, we could meet. Will give them to you for nothing as I am not a fan and they are just sitting in my freezer taking up space.

Anyway, I think I am paying under $4 per can. Even with the USPS shipping from SC added on it would still be a hell of a lot cheaper than $10 a can.

I waited a long time and wrestled with spending that much for a roll but none of the local shops sell the Long portions (they haven't even heard of it) and it isn't part of the VIP but I wanted to try it so I sacrificed a few luxuries for a couple months to save up (remember the days when you didn't have to save up for a couple months to buy a roll? LOL)

I agree with you and Snusdog (thanks Snusdog) about the proposal. We should find a couple different people so one isn't on the hook for the whole order, maybe Alabama and SC and a couple other really low tax states and do a mass order and disperse it. There are several brands I would like to have again for a reasonable price (01/02/Ettan/Grovsnus/etc).

Holy shit, $100 for 1 roll? Damn I would NEVER pay that, even if I had the money. For me, $115 a month is expensive, but that's for like 3 rolls. Using snusbargain and snuson VIP you get a better deal for your money. $100 a roll is waaaay to cost prohibitive.

I pay about 2-3$ per can, whereas your paying like 10$ per can lol. There has to be a better way.

I agree with Snusdog, we need to crowdsource this and have snusers in low tax states order it to their houses and then ship from there. I got 6 rolls recently for $115. For someone like you, paying the extra $20 for me to ship it would be of MAJOR benefit.

Not sure what the tax rate is in CA, but I definately din't pay more than $3 a can on my last like 4 orders. I would be willing to participate in this. We could either convince everyone to do a mass purchase all at once to save on shipping (this really saves the big money), or we could just do individual orders for people depending on how many participants we can get on board. Count me in.

So 80 rolls for $236.81 shipped. That's $2.96 a can shipped. Much cheaper than your $10 a can shipped, or buyign one at the store for $7-$8.

And on larger orders we could save more. The person doing the ordering gets paid by northerner, because by buying 80 cans you get 1,000 bonus points which means 1 free roll for whoever organizes the whole thing and has it shipped to them.

I just looked at my General Long Strong order and forgot I ordered 2 cans of Julesnus with it, so I guess it was technically only 9 bucks a can for the General, sorry. Subtotal was 44.8, 40.58 in tobacco tax. In WA they tax on retail price, so they even charge tax on free cans.

For example, if everyone could agree on 1 snus to get cheap, we could all consolodate our money with one person, and have that person (who lives in a low tax state) buy the stuff, and then ship it out once he gets it. or even have that one person mass order from snusbargain.

This way you get a discount because the taxes are lower, and an additional discount because you are buying AND shipping in bulk quantities. So saving 3 ways.

The difference between 10 guys buying a roll here and there and 1 guy consolodating their order and having it shipped to himself is a savings in the hundreds of dollars. You could easily half the price per can this way.

Amazing, California of all places being on the forefront of the anti-tobacco movement has much lower tobacco taxes LOL

This is a great idea though. We could pick a portion and a los (for the los people) and do a mass order. Just have to find someone willing (and trusty), someone we all know that has been around a while, to do it. It could be a great way for some of us to get out of reach snus.

I'm glad I'm not alone with the issue of money being tight. If I was still at my old job before I got layed off I'd most likely be ordering Kardus. Now things are alot different. I'm going to do a nice bulk order come tax refund time that'll hopefully last me a good while. Lxskllr made an excellent point about snuff, it's got a great price point and
very enjoyable.. My goal is to get down to 4 portions/prillas a day with snuff in between. I suggest trying the "sterk" snuffs

with those.. I've been bad lately wth stress do to th accident and all
so My tolerence has gone up.. I deserve one vice!

I got into snus post-PACT... and the stuff is pretty expensive, but the way I see it: A can will last me a few days (whereas a pack of cigarettes would only last me a day), so I'm still saving money in the long-run.

Once I figure out what brands I like, I'm going to do one big order every now and then and make it last. I don't want to quit this stuff, it's great.

I agree with the pooling orders idea. Or people who already place largish orders could maybe adopt a couple smaller orders from others. I still have not ordered post pact except the VIP but when I do it will probably be pretty big. But I still got awhile to go.
