Snus tax will most likely increase per. 1/1-2011 within EU (which means in Sweden)
Fram 336 Sek/kg (37 Eur/kg or 48 USD) to 402 sek (44 Eur/kg or 57 USD) - taxes are + vat 25%
Which means that an roll of loose snus will raise with app. 3,8 Eur pr roll and portion 2,1 Eur.

I'm only snusing for 4 years and yet I remember the tax being 128 SEK per kilo till 2006 and the price of snus being roughly half of what it's now. Hell, and in German forums you can meet people who even bought their snus free of tobacco tax at every bigger gas station, when it was still legal to sell. They paid approx. 1.50 Euros for a can of Ettan lös back in 2002, about 1/4 of what we will have to pay in 2011. It's incredible.

Chainsnuser You need to come visit quick before the prices go up, it´s not that big of a deal, just drive over for a daytrip, How long is it from Köln to the ferries in Travemunde or kiel 5-6 hours? Or just drive thrue Denmark, and fill upp for a years supply or more in one go. You can save quite a few € don´t be shy I know you want to.
