Guys, listen up!! Y'all sound like the cool kids who really relished spitting out
all the little tobacco bits from their Lucky Strikes, Chesterfields and Camels.

I smoked all three but spitting tobacco bits was not a pleasant pastime for me.
I don't know who invented the filtered cigarette but it didn't take me long to
make Winstons my all-day everyday smoke --- and I never looked back!!

I can only imagine what a blob of tobacco under my lip would be like. Mudslide?
Hell, more like an avalanche!! There are too many snus pouches that won't stay
put so I can only wonder what journeys pouch-less snus would have.

I'm only tempted when I read about different LOSs that get higher ratings than
their pouched counterparts. I may try pouching my own but I really can't see
me doing loose LOS.

I try to never say never ... so I'll just say 'I doubt it."

Ok, first off I never relished spitting out all the little tobacco bits from Lucky Strikes, Chesterfields and Camels as a matter of fact I hated bits of tobacco from cigs and found it to be nasty. Your comparing apples to oranges... Loose is nothing like that by any means of any imagination or I wouldn't be using it.

You stick a blob of tobacco under your lip anyway... Your under the misconception that you will get bits of tobacco from Los and will be nasty like cigs... You may at first, But is pretty rare and is quit tasty when it does happen as it is more like buttery tobacco, As for mudslides... They only happen the first week and rarely happen to me at all now unless I've had a pris in for more than 1 1/2 to 2 hours and is not unpleasant whatsoever... Having los in your lip does not cause Spitville... Not sure where your getting that from.... Lastly you stick tobacco up your nose now.. Did you ever think you would like that... I get a nose mudslide more than I get a mudslide from Los.. Los stays in place way better than portions as there is no material to get wet and slippery and slide...

Hell!!! I remember when I first started snus 5 month ago.. I never thought I would use oral tobacco never mind using it in loose form... Glad i did as the flavor and comfort of Los in the lip is way better than portions... You can't form an opinion or knock it unless you try it .. You tried and like nasal snuff with bad sinus problems right...

Yeah i saw your post and see no reason or basis to put down or not want to try Los except for a long time fear of not liking spitting out cigarette tobacco which like i said ... You are comparing apples to oranges with snus... But hey by all means miss out on a great snus experience.. You will never know if you will like it unless you try it and most that do like it... We were just trying to help you see what you are missing out on like snuff, But by all means keep an unfounded misconception and fear... No peer pressure here.. nobody is trying to force you to try something you don't want to do... Ya whimp..LOL..

Not sure about the number of things that ladies do part of your post and you may have to spell it out for me.. Not uderstanding how that part has anything to do with trying the Los experience...

I too just started shoving tobacco up my nose and that drip is a lot more annoying than anything lös ever did to me.

Raptor congrats on starting with snuff, different snuffs affect people differently, keep trying different brands/flavors to find the ones that don't make ya drip.

Once again I've managed to get sinus swollen from snuff...

Probably the worst thing to do if you have sinusitis..

And if we'd compare sticking powder up your nose and using los.... I'd go with los.... it's just like food.... in your mouth...
A lot worse to have tobacco powder in the sinuses.... and dripping brown juice from your nose on cold weather, lol

I like the taste and the whole wholesome idea of los, I like the heavy can, the smell, but I don't like how it mashes all in my teeth, and I find it uncomfortable, and it's probably more so my teeth, which are not the straightest, and my parents never got me braces.

So, I don't like los, to use. I also prefer the long cut consistency of dip over the moist clay like consistency of los, because, while it to gets in my teeth, it doesn't stick and mash into my teeth, and I don't find it uncomfortable, because it's lower lip.

That's just me though. I don't have any problems with portion snus, and that's what I use more than anything.

Okay, guys, this is starting to feel like Family Feud ... without Richard Dawson.

Snuson is one big family with its diversification amplified a hundredfold and like any
family there will be disagreements that eventually/usually fade into the background.

Even though you call me whiny and scared I know you're not trying to apply peer pressure.

As I've already stated, I try to never say never so just let me say I will take your

Doesn't mean that I have to follow suit. I know of some people who feast
on roadkill but I have no intentions of doing so myself. (Yeah, I know that's
stretching the analogy but basically I don't care what the Jones's do.)

I know you have my welfare at heart and I do appreciate your concerns;
just don't hold it against me for my "unfounded misconception and fear."
