Go to the link and click the Mobile App button. It's pretty sweet.

So i look in the app store and find nothing. Goto general's website on my phone to try and obtain the app.

Tell me why there is like a 4 page signup page that asks you 50 million questions? You can't even view the site without giving all of your information to them, including phone numebr etc. I gave up, because I don't even like general anyways, but they need to get this in the app store. Typing in "snus" in thes search still bares no results.

The app is basically a mobile friendly link, you can view it in Safari. Look:

So it's not really an app, just a small version of the store locator that's phone friendly.

Its 3 pages (The first page is contact info: Full name, address, city/state/zip, birth date) [Its required that they know you're at least 21 years or over], the second page wants to know what brands of Snus you like, and how many cans you use per week, and the last page is to create a login (and whether or not you want to receive promotional material from General).

You won't see it available in an app store, since they need to confirm that you're 21 or over (which goes back to the 3-step procedure on their website). Its not their fault, they're required by law to do so.

That's funny, because all the other tobacco websites don't require you to be over 21 to view their webpage. Which law is this, and why is general the only website on the internet following it? It's not a big deal, I just hate filling out shit on my phone. Skoal.com or northerner will allow me to browse their website before verifying my age, they only ask for it if I want to order something.

I think it was one of the new FDA regulations that ban certain types of tobacco marketing. You can't even get those "General" branded fridge mates anymore. Merchandise featuring a tobacco brand label is banned.

As for other websites that have an age gate, I know the Marlboro and Camel require proof of age. Every tobacco website I've tried to visit so far has required proof of age.

I just checked Skoal (and Copenhagen), and they both have age gates.
