The wintergreen I love for in the AM right when I wake up.. Not a big wintergreen fan but it does a good job and the flavor
is pretty good. I'm excited to try the mint and the reg strong.

Just got my hands on a can of the Classic Strong and I'm liking it so far. It does have a persistent herbal quality and a little sweetness which doesn't overpower at all. Plus there's the light background of bergamot that comes through making for a complex, if not necessarily all that tasty, presentation. Not bad at all. If any American snus had this low sweetness level there'd be much less about which to complain. Initial impression is that for me the Classic Strong is rather more palatable than the Mint.

These new Jakobssons are distinctly American, and taking that into account, I'd say they're the benchmark to compare all American snus to. I haven't had the wintergreen, but the rest are good, and they seem to balance the fine line between real snus, and sweetened garbage. I'm still not convinced that going sweet is the ticket to the American audience, but they balance it perfectly. If sweet is indeed the way to go, they've kept the real Swedish experience without crapping on it's legacy.

Now where's my damned plain Gotland lös Jimmy! :^D

Give us a review of it. Is it regular portion or white?

Won't like it? I would pay you for this!!!!

Is this just the unflavoured base tobacco use in the Gotlands lössnus or a new lös that you are working on?

Please tell me that you are doing a "natural" flavour lös!!

I think this snus is my favorite snus. The sweetness is soooo frickin light, but I can keep this in for over an hour, and suck out every ounce of juice in this puppy. I have NEVER been able to do that with any other snus. At all. Ahhhh. And its strong, but again, so good that I can leave it in till every ounce of goodness is ingested.

I just picked up a tin of this today, because i live in Iowa, and am looking at options for getting snus locally. Yes, there is a tinge of artificial— not sweet exactly— but citrate-like something. Almost like a poor man's Onyx?...

... BUT, the artificial part of the vibe is really, really subdued, and the nicotine hit (they say 14mg) is definitely OK. I too wonder why the snus distributors seem to want to assume that Americans need everything to taste like Koo-laid. This is, in balance, a very good snus. It's also the first thing I've managed to find locally except for General regular, (and of course the Camel/Marlboro crapola that isn't IMHO even snus) and I'm a stark person.

So I'm happy to have found it. I still like Skruf, GES, N&J et al, but as long as I can't order online, I would be content to have this available as my everyday snus. Two thumbs up.

This review fits perfectly. I'm just now getting around to reviewing them myself and I agree, this is the same thing I'm picking up.
