Can you get a pic of the sign? I'm curious to see it.
Check out the "future of american snus" thread, Chad. A guy that works at a gas station said they were launching the new Marlboro and Skoal snus today. Supposedly the new Marlboro "Red" is Marlboro Rich toned down on the sweetness in a bigger, more moist pouch and a cooler plastic can with 15 portions.

So today is the national release date for Skoal Snus, drove around and went to about 10 gas stations and tobacco stores, no one knew what I was talking about. Two stores had signs up - when I pointed them out they didn't even know they were there. Nobody even had the product. Weird.

I know control of snus was transferred to U.S. Smokeless so hopefully they'll put dry dip in a bag rather than dried cigarette tobacco. I think tobacco companies actually believe people buy products based on brand rather than taste which may be true for cigarettes (they did blind tests and people couldn't identify their brand) but it's not remotely true for smokeless tobacco users we'll dip something based on mouth feel, nicotine content, taste, and price as has been proven by the success of grizzly and longhorn constantly taking market share from skoal and to a lesser extent copenhagen. Most of the same is true of snus users.
