I have my own issues with MrSnuff unrelated to service. He's used guerrilla marketing techniques here, and that's something I don't appreciate.

lxskllr, surely you jest I mean for crying out-loud man Roderick of Toque is the King of guerrilla marketing I don't know him personally but I think he has a good product and is probably a great guy too boot. There are a great number of individuals on this forum that only post to self promote their Blogs or YouTube channels under the pretense of providing "information" and it's all just to benefit themselves with free products from the manufactures and dealers of tobacco products.

There are many members here that do nothing but grab news articles and general garbage off of the web and post them here one after another; only to benefit themselves by ratcheting up their post count. If I want to read the news I'll go get for myself, this forum used to be about a group of individuals with a common interest and love for all things smokeless tobacco related. It has turned into a venue for folks venting everything from their political views to their disdain for other religious groups.

I used to visit here often because of my 10 year association with snus and other smokeless tobacco but I don't much anymore because the forum has been taken over by a few over zealous folks with a destructive mentality and too much time on their hands. It's evident in all of the main threads now every where you look, they just hammer the threads with one post after another for no other reason than to generate a high post count and not because they have a real interest in snus or snuff.

lxskllr I have always thought you were one of the more tempered individuals with a lot of good contributions to this place but I don't think it's fair to single out one retailer over another for "guerrilla marketing techniques" after whats been going on here for months.

This is all just my humble opinion of course; let's not let the kettle call the pot black... I'm just saying...

I've been away for almost a month, where does the time go?

I trust you can tell the difference between the sponsored reviews, and being a lying shill. When the resident reviewers post something, I know where they're coming from. I may or may not be getting the full story, and I can intuit the reasons why. When a store owner poses as a regular member, someone not paying attention will be mislead, at the shop owners benefit.

AFAIK all the other manufacturers and sellers post under their own names. There was one years ago, but that was before I was a mod, and before most of the members here were here. It was also less aggressive than the posts above.

While I agree there are a lot of off-topic threads on this forum, for me that's one of the appeals. I love snus, it probably saved my life, but I come to this forum because I love the people here, they're my only friends, and friends talk about everything. What would you have us do? Create a different forum only for non-snus related conversations and keep snuson strictly about snus related topics? That would have worked pre-PACT when everyone could afford snus and try various brands and had something to discuss but now the amount of snus only discussion is pretty limited to which General or Jakobbsons flavor is best. I'm just sayin.
