Well, im jobless and I get 400 euros in a month so that's not much. I know many young people do not get even 1000 euros even they're working in the EU.

I guess 400 Euros for Sweden is not much, but for my native Lithuania, that would be about average wage, so not bad at all.

:-O I don't think my boss makes that much even. Or do you mean /year? 5000 Euros is like 45.000 SEK? My salary is half of that, and that's more than say, what a nurse makes /month. And that's before taxes too. Other then some bosses, i personally don't know anyone that makes that much per month here. Must be some mistake here. It can not be average salary though. Amongst chiefs i suppose it can be average, but for the majority, i doubt that. If it is, i need a serious talk with my boss lol

Some amazing stashes here! Mine looks like some other Swedes posted. Meaning 1 can, so no point post a pic of a grov can.

I notice you're from Sweden ... and as you said you work in the private sector.

I actually consulted Payscale before making the statements. Even if you don't believe it ... the average salary in Sweden is around 45,000 Svensk Kroner :-)
And I've been living in Norway for a while and know what the salaries are like in Scandivia..... If you have a degree.... you can easily earn 5K a month.....

The average salary is based on both sectors..

The average Swedish salary is lower than the Norwegian, and the average Norwegian salary isn't 5000 Euro. I'd say 4000 was the average Norwegian, and 3000 is the average Swedish.

                      What's the big deal about E.U ?

There are many countries in E.U with an average salary of 300 euros...

Where do you live by the way?

I'd be interested to move to Norway if I can find a well paid job... somewhere between 3000 and 5000 .....

No. In Finland. Are you saying that you get about 2000 euros if you are jobless in Norway?
btw my girlfriend is a nurse and she gets about under 2000 or up to 2000 euros salary per month.

Nah, i work in the other sector whatever it's called lol. Not the private, the commune? municipal? I hope you get what i mean :P And that's lower salary than the private yes. Safer yes, but lower salaries.

Anyhow, i checked that payscale site, but those numbers seemed off. Seems like the average for professors and such high educated dudes lol. I dare you to find a factory worker here with 5k Euro/month :-P I wouldn't say they're wrong at payscale, but i prefer a Swedish site with more accurate figures. As accurate i could get now atleast :P And they seem correct to me here:

                          http://www.ekonomifakta.se/sv/Fakta/...-ingangsloner/

I know you probably don't read Swedish, but you'll see the numbers atleast scrolling down, and that's more than half of 5k Euro/month. Which i already stated ;-)
Both entry salary for youth (red) 18-22 and median salary for all 18-64 (brown).

I get what you mean but I said the average salary is 5000 in all sectors ...

Think of it... there are probably 100,000 swedes earnings 15K a month ... it adds up....

I wasn't saying about the low paid factory worker.... but they too I guess earn 2000 +

But it is the average :-P There are, excuse my language, fecking lot more people who earns 15k SEK / month than what high educated engineers/project leaders and whatnot making 45k SEK or whatever per month. And that makes the average salary in all sectors 25k? SEK / month.

I don't know if we mean the same thing, but trust me, the average salary is not 5k Euro / month in all sectors :-) It's higher in the private sector yes, but still no way near 5k Euro / month.

I did a quick search on google now about how many people in sweden that earned more than 40k SEK / month, which took me to a newspaper and and article that ststed that there are less than 400000 Swedes making more than 40k SEK / month. So it's far less than one would think. Also said it's about 40k people earning more than 80k SEK / month.

But i'll stop now. I feel like reporter or something lol

To sum up: Snus is cheap for some, most actually. But the huge price jump for a can was damn much for a big snuser. Still cheaper than cigarettes tho thank gods for that :-P
