    Pics of your stash?

I was bored, so I took one of my mini fridge in my room; I have all of my doubles in the freezer. I don't know how I ever lived without this thing...

Anyone have pics of their stockpiles? I'm interested in seeing the different storage options, anyway.

Impressive collection of Diplomat loose, brother! BTW I like your overall tastes. I wish I had your fridge! Nice work!

My stash of snus ain't nothing to look at. Seven full cans of Ettan lös with the plastic wrap and shit-loads of used cans (99% Ettan lös) in my desk drawer.

Jason what fridge is that exactly? I have been looking for a good fridge or fridge/freezer to store my tins. If you got any links to yours or if anyone has a link or pics of some nice ones that are fairly small and cheap I would really appreciate it.

Ill post up my pics of my stash shortly.

That's the freezer in the basement ... it has it's own snus drawer/box :-)

And this is what I currently have on stock (except the ones that are open of course); you can only see the top layer though, there's more snus laying below :-)
All cans are vacuumized to preserve freshness and taste. And as one can see I am mainly a portion snuser.

It's exactly like this one, except mine is an older model and all silver...

I bought it off of ebay used; it holds 20 tins with room for a 20 oz. drink, or 30 tins without the drink.

It is a pretty decent household sealer similar to a foodsaver (http://www.foodsaver.com) and it cost me about USD 200.- back then a few years ago. Nowadays you can find them much cheaper on ebay I think.
Although I am very satisfied with this sealer, the bad thing is that one needs to buy special structure bags because the vacuum just won't form properly on plain normal plastic bags. There is however one forum member who has a handheld vacuum device that uses reusable ziplock bags...
There are cheap sealers available that are just plain crap. If you want a good sealer it should be able to suck the hell out of the bag so you get a strong vacuum and it should produce strong seals also...

On some well-sealed snus cans like e.g. mocca you will also have to remove or punch the plastic seal before vacuumizing them because otherwise there will still be some air trapped inside the can.
All in all it's pretty much work to vacuumize the snus and I have asked mself if this is really worth it...

Thanks for the response. Thats a perfect fridge for me. How cool does it keep the snus usually? Does it keep it below the required temp on the snus tins?

Going by the spec on the webpage, it says 40F below ambient, so with snus needing to be kept below 8C, which is 46.4F, it should keep snus below the required temperature in a room which is below 86.4F, or 30.2C, which is pretty warm. At a normal room temperature of 20C/68F, it should keep snus below freezing.

aardvark, you just reminded me that I have one of those vacuum things out in my garage; my roomate uses it to keep "other things" fresh.

I'm gonna try that for the freezer stock...
