Give us Gotlands Yellow...if only once a year!

Given that there are a fair few fans of Gotlands Yellow around and the idea of having it released once a year seemed to have a lot of appeal to people on the other thread I thought I'd create a poll to see how interested you guys would really be - if we get to twist Jimmy's arm to agree to this that is

Buy it? I would fly to Sweden and hop on the ferry to Gotland for it! Put me down for 5 rolls!

Definitely, but it would be even better if we have a series (Yellow, Green lös, Natural lös)

Yellow? I avoid things with the word yellow in them since I had that snowcone

What the hell kind of poll is that?! I'd fly to Sweden because that sounds more extreme, and urgent(plus I really would every couple years if I had the money.), but I'd love to see plain, and Fläder lös released. The last 2 aren't quite plane ride spectacular, but I'd certainly stock up if they were a once per year release. I voted for #1, but #2 is perfectly acceptable also, and more convenient than dealing with the TSA :^D

I thought I'd throw in a bit of hyperbole to show how passionate we all are about it.....feel free to edit it...

What I really wanted to get at is that if Gotlands does go through the effort of accommodating us then the SnusOn community should provide at least some kind of indication that we would definitely buy the limited run(s) and make it worth their while.

Hyperbole or not, I'd seriously fly to Sweden for Gotland Gul lös. That was the last bergamot snus still sold in the USA. General isn't even close. It doesn't have enough bergamot. I don't even like General that much. I have a small stash I built up buying expired snus deals, and while it tastes good when I first open the tin, I'm tired of it half way through. Both Gotland and LD(the other bergamot snus) were delicious all the way through, with Gotland being the better of the 2.

Granit is ok, but again it has smoke, and the flavor is more bright lemon than bitter bergamot. Unfortunately, I won't be flying anywhere any time soon, but if I had the money, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I could stand visiting Sweden every couple of years, and getting delicious Gotland lös would make the trip all the better.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but how did "Change the Roda can" and "Bring back Claq Qui" work out? :P

I think there is a bit more hope here. Jimmy said he loved the idea of doing a special snuson release of Green los and Jacob Classic los (maybe do a pre-order type of thing).
He said he is planning to suggest it at their next planning meeting.

It would be very low risk (especially pre-order), good PR, and a great way to market test a product for the future

            So who knows

But I would definitely buy the Classic and the Green
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I don't have high hopes, but Gotland is small enough to be flexible. Swedish Match is too big to do anything without planning 2 years ahead, and dumping $2,000,000 into it. I don't know much about the inner workings of the snus business, but it seems to me, small runs, especially a product like lös snus would be quick and easy to do. They aren't gonna get rich of that, but they could make a few bucks, and generate goodwill.

The first and only can of Claq is what you sent me a good while ago.

I most certainly tell you this, I savored every moment with 'em.

I am absolutely heartbroken that yellow is going away. It is my favorite by far and I'm gonna order a shit ton of rolls later this week for freezing. How are they gonna keep green and do away with yellow? Doesn't make any sense to me. I guess It'll be ettan and prima fint from now on.

Yeah I should have gotten a roll of gotlands yellow instead of ettan los. Honestly I would only order a roll or two though if it was limited edition release.

I am good for a couple rolls in the future.

The bright side is I have to go full on portion at work from now on so I use less los and my stash of Gul will last that much longer. Now I get really happy like I always did when I use my gul but I also get a little sad...
