I no longer like original portions

It took me a while to come to this conclusion as most of the time it never came to me it was in my subconscious mind.

A while back when I was self employed I only used lös snus and occasionally only used portions snus (the kind that is only available as a portion eg. grovsnus black). For the past 9 months I have been working for a company with a boss etc so I use portions all day at work.

original portions lacked flavour and punch as I was always used to their lös equivalent. Where as White portions have a nicer feel under the lip and the flavour is really good. Ettan White and General White are my everyday snus at the moment and I love them. I get home and take a big pinch of my faves, ettan, grov, blå and general lös.

So goodbye original portions.

when the white portions came out a couple of years ago i liked them but now i prefer the originals over the whites. especially general portion. haven‘t tried ettan white though.

White portions make me vaguely irritable. Portions are bad enough, but I really dislike whites.

As portions go, I like the way Jakobsson's portions straddle the line of original and white. They are kinda dry and flavorful like a white just not as dry...

P.S. I just graduated with this post so I submit this as my thesis. Jakobsson's portions are a hybrid portion to get the best of both worlds.

Eh.. I don't know, snusify. I don't think I could say goodbye to Ettan OP and N&J Strong. The white versions may be good but taste totally different. Ettan White makes the PERFECT daily snus, btw guys.

I like the Jakobsons the best. Original portions aren't my preference because they drip more and the taste goes weird sometimes after a few days. Still though I've got a can of nick and johnny.

At this point, i'm not a fan of portions. When i first started with snus i preferred the white portions. The originals ran too much for my tastes.

I'm a portion man through and through, and I grew tired of whites. Originals all the way these days.

Different snus for different situations.

If I know I'll be driving for an hour and a half I'll probably take a white portion. The only whites I own now are Grov but then again I wouldn't need anything else. If I only have a half hour or something I'll be more inclined to take a regular portion. If I have to speak more I'll tend towards the whites. If I'm sitting alone working or what have you I'll prefer los but that's usually at the end of the day.

Not as much as i used to. When I started snus I was coming off a 2 pack a day cigarette habit so sterk snus was the only thing that satisfied. However in order to appreciate all the other regular strength snus I got used not using sterks all of the time.

there's no reason in fact to have sterks the whole time....

I can't really tolerate them... they way too strong still ... and i did smoke a lot as well...

The last few original portion cans I have had, Thunder, and even General, while within the date, just seemed kinda dried out to me, and not so great. A super fresh can of OP is great, but my last order was all whites, and I find these don't "dry out", or get that freezer burn or whatever. So, tastes may change again, but I prefer whites too.
