    Lime Flavors?

I absolutely love the flavor of limes. Nothing seems to hit the spot like something flavored with lime (Mojitos especially). With this in mind, can anyone recommend a good snus with a lime flavor to it? I would prefer portions since I'm always on the go, but I'm open to los as well. I know there is the Olde Viking ginger and lime, but it seems a little off. Anything else you guys can think of? Even if a snus isn't flavored with lime but it reminds you of it, throw it out here.

Ginger and Lime is the only one I can think of, but you mentioned that one already. A just Lime snus would be pretty good, V2 get on that!

I know of none. There used to be a lime licorice lös made by Snus AB, but they've been out of business for awhile, and it wasn't that great anyway. I think Catch may have had a limited flavor that included lime also, but I didn't try it if they did have such a flavor.

Olde Viking Ginger Lime is the only one I can think of.

There was a Catch not too long ago that had a really cool lime flavor but it isn't sold anymore.

I love bergamot. I have Earl Grey tea to thank for my slight addiction to that. If you can't tell I'm a big fan of citrus. It's a real bummer to me not being able to get a good lime flavor. I would love nothing more than to see a successful lime snus. That catch lime just taunts me. Oh well...

I'll definitely check into it. I'm just about to order another stash once I get my tax return. So far I've only had Offroad Frosted and Wintergreen. The frosted was pretty good, especially for the price.

Have to agree with you on the Olde Viking ... which is why my opened container is in the freezer!!

You've nudged me into letting it thaw out, after which I'll 'paint' some of the portions with Faerie's Key Lime Extract I just happen to have. Will let you know in a day or so if it works.

Quite honestly, wintergreen was never a favorite flavor of mine. I just tried it because I wanted to try something new. It's definitely not bad, it just isn't for me.

Yeah definitely let me know how that works out. Although, I doubt Olde Viking would find a way into my typical rotation since it's fermented.

Offroad is the only Wintergreen snus I've tried. Apparently though from what I've read in reviews and such, it's the closest one to the flavor of American dip. I can't vouch for it though since I only use dip very sparingly. When I do, it's usually fruit flavors.

One thing I'd suggest is getting a little pure lime juice or key lime, or some lime extract and taking your favorite bergamot snus and adding a little bit to the can and letting it sit in the cold storage for a few days. Allow the lime to soak into the portions and you may experience a little more of a lime kick. I'd suggest doing it with a bergamot snus or a neutral los (such as Ettan or Prima - both of which are good bases), or a portion snus with little flavor. off the top of my head Oden's 69 would be a good base because it's a dry white portion and very simple. Or if you want to go all out do it with SnusX.

I wouldn't recommend adding lime extract directly as the low pH could affect nicotine delivery and "freshness" of the portions (basicity of the snus prevents bacterial growth). There might be no/low calorie flavorings you could purchase separately and add on your own.

But yes, you will need to make your own lime portions. Olde Viking isn't something I'd recommend as it uses fermented tobacco.
