Funky pill boxes for snus?

This particular box is only 2 inches in diameter, and thus smaller than a typical snus container, but I think it looks pretty functional and cool. And there has got to be a zillion varieties out there, so there may be a perfect multi-compartmental snus box in the guise of a pill box for anyone who has expressed an interest.

I'm going to keep searching. Just a thought.

The problem with most pill boxes is that they are not completely air tight which is somewhat important to keep snus fresh. I had a similar pill box and found my portions drying out rather quickly. I now use a small Tupperware type smash box and am much happier. Mars cigars.com has a snuff smash box for fifty cents. Take a look see! You might want one.

Good point about the seal. I didn't think of that, having never owned or used a pill box.

I'm still looking for the perfect snus pocket container, that would be compact, and hold three different brands of snus.

You could probably make one out of an icetool can or just an empty snus can, by adding the divider (which could be made out of glass, plastic, metal, etc.).

Of course, there might be some issues with grabbing the wrong portion, since they all tend to look the same...

I'm assuming we're talking about portions here. For myself, I don't really carry my loose around. I usually carry five or six portions of several flavors in a small container like the ones at Mars. There is not too much transfer in flavors over the short time they are in there. However I have had a few pleasant surprises such as a licorice scented Scruff Tranbar and a cranberry flavored Kronan. Those were good enough to repeat intentionally but I've never really hit a "bad" combination. I would probably just put a foil or something between them if I was really concerned. The pill boxes are cool though and I would use them if I found an air tight container to fit inside them.

That's a pretty swanky case. But another thing is that it looks like theres that fake velvet stuff in it that would probably wick away even the moisture in a Catchdry portion. But I like how it has a mirror so you can see whether you've put the portion in properly or accidentally threaded it between your teeth. Handy.

EDIT: That Smash Box on marscigars.com actually looks like one of those small pog cases that we damn rowdy kids might be familiar with. You might find one in a box in your garage. Maybe save 5 dollars shipping.

The Lucky Strike tin is perfect for making your own divided snus tin. It is very rigid and seems to actually seal alot better than all the other tins. Just take some rigid plastic material to make the dividers, as shown in a post above.
