No. RJR and Altria are. But SM isn't far behind. Still doesn't change my mind that Nick and Johnny is better than anything V2 offers.

I rarely post here anymore even though I visit daily, but this got me fired up. It makes me feel good that I don't use ANY sm products anymore, I simply don't like them as much, and now after seeing this I will never buy a can of onyx again (that is their one product that I really like, but haven't bought in a while). I am a v2 and jakobssons person these days. Glad to be supporting the little guys!!

I personally have no hesitations about v2 products being good products. Yeah their general quality control varies a bit, but I feel certain that their products are no more harmful to me than sm products. If I see some claims based on facts I will think about it again, but until then it doesn't worry me a bit.

I just really wonder what SM was thinking when they did this or if they were even thinking at all. They should know that the public would look at this behavior in a negative way even if SM is right about the bacteria and is just trying to save the good reputation of snus. I mean, DEMANDING that V2 take their snus off the market? Please.... But if they wanted to kill V2 they could. Just tell the e-stores and retailers that they are not allowed to sell any SM products as long as they carry V2 snus.

as i personally see it is the monopoly has woken up and suddenly we have become a competitor…

I think we brought some innovation into the business, which was needed.

From day 1 we want to apply to the same rule and standards as SM. We have made many analisis durring the years and we have always fund the results well bellow SM limits in Gothiatek. Durring next week we will release a official statemant regarding limits and results. We love this business and would never supply bad quality. V2 dont have the same over 100 years of experience as SM, but we do what we can to continually improve and refine our quality.

Regarding the tobacco question: We buy all our tobacco from the world's leading leaf tobacco merchant and processor (American company) who does testing and quality check of everything they sell… and that is not cheap tobacco.

Regarding bacteria: we have more bacteria then SM, but within was is allowed in Sweden. And that is something we choose. If you heat the tobacco more, you get lower level on bacteria and higher level of nitrosamines (TSNA). TSNA is harmfull, bacteria is not.

Great to hear from you guys! You don't make my favorite snus, but you're one of my favorite makers. You guys run a good shop, and are responsive to the snus market, and your customers. I really respect that, and can get behind you 100%. Keep on keeping on, and keep Swedish Match on their toes! :^)
