        Larry,

I don't think the issue here is you. Rather, I think the concern is with SM.

I have no doubt you will accurately report what they give you. I have no doubt that your article will be well written and insightful. I do however doubt that what you will be given by SM is anything closely resembling facts...............spun facts.............half facts................facts out of proportion and lacking the other factors that would place them in proper perspective.......yes, that you will have in abundance..........but facts plain and simple...............don't count on it.

          this^

          well said Dog

@Larry, we realize you can only report what you learn. And you do a good job of it. Its SM that could be the problem.

What is the growth in sales that V2 has? what is their market share? anyone know?
I'm curious about the threat that SM is facing

I think V2 is 100% privately owned, so there won't be public disclosure of earnings. They went from nothing in 2006, to being many people's favorite maker, especially Americans. Here's another copy/paste of a message I sent. Doing it this way is easier than retyping everything :^D

If they don't do something now, they may find the threat much more credible, and will have a harder time dealing with it. Of course, instead of slinging mud, they could make their products better, and compete on features and value, but that costs more money than slinging mud :^D

I think the same thing is happening with Swedish Match, and V2. V2 is still small, but they've been doing pretty well for themselves. Swedish Match is trying to take the easy way out, instead of competing head to head :^)

Here's my take for what it's worth. I like some V2 products, i like some SM products. What SM is doing does seem kinda petty and school boyish but that is business. If someone is starting to cut into your profits then you will do what you can to get that share back. I'm guessing that they must have some accurate numbers to prove their claim.

Personally, from what i have read and understand from the postings in this thread, i would rather have the lower TSNA level even if it means a miniscule amount of bacteria. The human mouth is full of it and our bodies deal with it everyday.

I have used a lot of V2, mainly Thunder Berry, OP and all varieties of Frosted, and on occasion some Offroad. I like the cost, the flavors and the hit from Thunder. I'm not about to stop totally stop buying SM, we don't exactly have much choice around here. I will be going to DesMoines on a snus run in a few days and if i can stock up on Jaks and Thunder instead of General that's exactly what i'll be doing.

Now if V2 could come up with something as good as Ettan los, it would be bye bye SM for good.

Hey guys, just wanted to say something here. Most of you know that I work for Northerner, and I love them and what we are trying to do in the U.S. That being said, Larry is a friend and although a competitor with the online side of Northerner, he's a real asset to the snus community on whole. He's written countless articles that have furthered the "swedish snus" cause, and while we don't always see "eye to eye" on every topic....he works for the common good of snus in the U.S.

In my opinion, he's been very impartial when dealing with articles concerning RJR and Susan Ivey, and to say otherwise...well, is not accurate. SnusDog and PP have made comments to that effect, and that's cool...but I wanted to weigh in and say that I feel the articles that Larry writes are factually correct and in line with making snus in the U.S. a reality. He's put out a shit ton of information about Swedish snus, to help educate the masses and that helps make my job a bit easier....thanks

again....agreed. Larry works harder than anyone I know to educate people about all aspects of snus. And we all benefit from it.

I even heard somewhere that he has a forum too.

SnusOn is like the commons area in a frat house. SnusCentral forum is kinda like Cheers, a place where everybody knows your name. Both fun for different reasons
