New here, new 2 snus, and no cig for 8 days!!

Hi folks, I'm new on here so a big hello from me. I've been using snus for about 2 weeks now although i did order some a year or so ago but didn't realy take back then.
I've decided to use it to give up smoking and havn't had one for 8 days now.
Still looking every now and again for a cig but I just pop a snus in the mouth and that does it.
Must say I bought a mixed lot of several types and tastes but I think Jackobsons strong mint is my fav so far.
Don't know how long I shall be using it as I'd like to ween off nicotine completley one day. got 8 cans left anyway and I think that'l last me a while. 1 can usually lasts me 3 days.

How long does yours last?

Same here, a can lasts me about 3 days. So glad you've given up cigarettes ; ) I have too... Welcome to SnusOn !

A can of portions usually lasts me around 3 days too.

A tin of lös lasts me about 6 days, and a tin of portions lasts about 40 days :^D

Welcome to SnusOn! A can will last me about three days as well, though I always have multiple cans open, so a can usually lasts 2-3 weeks.

Hi markm. Welcome to the forum. Congrats on quitting the cigs. Snus helped me to stop smoking as well. I usually go through a can of los in about three days and can of portions would last me a couple of weeks.

Welcome. I have not had a cigarette in over a month well not more than 2 puffs. About 2 weeks ago I decided to try and smoke for whatever dumb reason and I couldn't stand it. The taste on the roof of my mouth the smell all of it was terrible. I won't even try that again. Snus for me isn't just a substitute for smoking it is a replacement that I enjoy far more than I ever did smoking.
Jakobssons Mint is one of my favorites to but it took me a few weeks to realize that. You will be surprised by how often your tastes change. Snus I hated a month ago I love now and vice versa. Just make sure that you order more a few days before you run out so you don't end up smoking again. Good luck

Welcome and congrats of quitting smoking. I´m using lös snus when i am at home and a can last about 3 days. At work I use mini portions and a can last 2-3 days.

Welcome and enjoy the journey. Mine started 19 months ago with my intro to E Cigs which took me from a 43 year, 2-3 pack a day habit down to six cigs a day for six months, Then the number of cigs started going up and I looked around and found snus. I'm exactly one week short of a full year without a single puff on a smoke. I almost had one at the sixth month mark but decided to wait for a full year. I don't even consider that option at this point.

A can for me usually lasts 5-6 days of portions. Maybe some day I'll try los but portions are just too convenient and I like getting ready to go out and picking, from 4 or 5 cans, a supply for the next couple days. As mentioned, tastes vary over time. It's so much more entertaining than smoking.

Welcome markm1936! I recently quit smoking with snus as well...11 days today. Keep with it, its gonna be hard and there are times where you are gonna feel like snus just isn't gonna cut it. Right now I can last me about a week or so. Hoping to keep it that way so snus doesn't become as expensive as smoking.

welcome to the forum and good luck with it man, it may get rough at times but it is very doable, i was a nearly 3 pack a day smoker for almost 9 years and have been smoke free thanks to snus for almost 4 years now. if thats doable i would say that anyone can with enough determination.
