Has anyone in the UK tried Northerner's tax free from the US option? The range is limited, but it's bloody good value. And I'm pretty sure Customs and Excise can't do diddly about it, because snus doesn't come under the tobacco duty clause.

Prices have gone up over at Buysnus. Prices are getting ridiculous.

Last week V2's Phantom snus was $19.??, today's price $21.72

Pre-Pact June last year I bought Ettan lössnus from From BuySnus on sale for $20 a roll, I think the "regular" price was around $24, That special was sweet, if you bought 3 rolls you got one free so for $60 I got 4 rolls ($15 roll)

The price today stands at $35.78

Atleast I'm well stocked and I can grow and make my own.

I'm out of touch with prices. It's been so long since I've bought, I have no idea what's going on. I do remember back in the good old days, I could get snus for ~$3.50 per tin shipped. There's no reason it should cost more than that. In fact, I think that would be a good target point to aim for. When inflation affects manufacturing prices, they can lower the taxes to hit the $3 per tin FOB mark :^)

I noticed the price increase the other day. Granit los went about about $5.00 a roll and shipping is more expensive as well. It is starting to feel like everything is going up except my paycheck. lol

I have been using the local Tobacco shop for portions and ordering what I cannot get (los/longcut). Was always a fan of the general line so it works out for me. Once more los and possibly longcut hits the store in the future I am done ordering online.

The bonus of ordering online is to get a substantial deal but they have made it not so.

Hence the reasons I put up the snus auctions yesterday. If you want to save any money [or keep it at at a reasonable price] you have to spend $400 or $500 and utilize the promotions just to keep prices somewhat reasonable.

Now go back to my auctions and look again. Tho the starting prices might seem high...they really aren't. now bid damit.

No seriously, worth checking out PP's auctions as he got a rather big order in just in the nick of time before one of the major snus retailers upped their prices so, depending on your location, it could save you some $s.

Ouch, there was a price increase! Skruf is up to $38 a roll; used to be $33. Shipping actually became $3 cheaper for me, though. Strange stuff going on.
