The same thing happened on my last order and it had me scratching my head. Made no sense to me but I failed "corporate think" way back when anyway.

I've placed around a dozen orders since PACT (and for that matter, since the FDA was given rights to regulate tobacco,) and this finally happened to me for the first time in my last order. It only went through one FDA clearance (not 5 or 6!) and was delayed one day. I attributed this to the fact that I ordered one tin of Skruf in addition to my usually General-only, which never got caught up by FDA prior to this (If I remember correctly, General/Swedish Match brands submitted their ingredients to the FDA for US approval, but Skruf did not.) However, when the package arrived it was entirely unopened, so I'm not even sure what went on, and it probably wasn't due to the Skruf.

for all the "clearing and approving" my order went thu, it never even got opened. What a racket.

and THATS only if ups gets their head out of their ass long enough to consider it a "failed delivery attempt" to allow you to pick it up at the main hub in your area. the have done this to me on 2 shipments... one they tried to deliver to my house 3 times but couldn't " due to weather conditions" even though ups trucks were pulling turn arounds at the end of my drive way.. and they wouldn't put the package on hold for me to pick up because they "didn't consider those failed delivery attempts" good game brown..

Dang!! I actually just had a similar surprise though opposite. My shipments almost always take 3 days, but this weekend I ordered the Jakkobsons Classic strong promotion getsnus was running, it shipped yesterday and they tried to deliver it today. Granted I'm in Ohio so it isn't going far, but that is definately a new record for them.
