Can you recommend me some snus?

    Hi,

I've had Gotteburgs Rappee (sorry for my spelling) and General... and skruf stark which seems to be my favourite though this might have been because they were fresher. All in portions at the moment.

I want to try some more portions - i am interested in citrus perhaps... or something like that. Are Wise ones still available? And what are the mini portions that are more discrete? And purified snus... is this good?

I want to make an order from Northerner over the next few days but unsure on what to choose. Any help appreciated :-)

I'd go with the obvious GR2 but it's definitely different.
Roda Lacket would be another good one. Kinda dried dark fruit flavor but in a light kinda way in fact too light for my tastes as an everyday snus. And it's a white portion snus. Some people prefer a more moist snus but that's not hard to achieve.
If you're into los then go Gotlands (Any, I think), Landstroms, Frima Fint, and you'd probably like Jakobsons Ice Fruit if you like the iciness.

I'm not really into the purified portions. They hit you pretty hard though. Put 2 in and it's significantly harder than a normal sterk portion. I just can't get past the mouthfeel with the minis. They're VERY dry so you'll have to wet them a little before you park them. Last forever though. I used to use them back when there was a brand Wise. I think the same snus is made under a different name. SnusGetter will be sure to know.

Keep trying and let us know what you think.

The Wise brand is now called Northerner. Their Citrus/Menthol is pretty good. The flavor lasts a long time without overwhelming you like most flavored snus. They are definitely discrete and no one will ever know you are using them. It can be an all day snus if needed but I generally use them at night after I have brushed my teeth. The nicotine in the 3mg or 6 mg portions seems to feel the same for some reason. The only thing I don't like about them now is that they really seemed to have jacked up the price on these. IMO the citrus is the best. The licorice seems a bit bland to me and the Energy portion tastes like bug spray. If you are in the US I do have some licorice I can send you so you can at least see what the portion feels like. It is outdated but I have a feeling that this snus is still good decades or even centuries beyond it's expiration date.

For citrus, Jakobssons Classic, LD, Gustavus, and Granit. Gotland Fläder for something interesting, and fruity.

Roda Lacket white portion is good, but for me personally I'd prefer it in an original portion. Whites rag my gums too much to be enjoyable. It's a tasty snus, though. The loose is better than the portion.

You should definitely try Ettan and Grov original portions. They're not citrus, but they're damn good - probably the best tasting snus portions out there, in my opinion.
