Hey Ansel it looks like if you have more than say 1 roll of snus you will have to answer to Customs in Nepal anyway. I have never been bothered by customs officials for snus, but I have also never brought more than 10 cans with me:

The following goods may be imported into Nepal without incurring customs duty:

• 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or equivalent of other tobacco articles.
• One 1L bottle of alcoholic beverage.
• A reasonable amount of perfume for personal use.

pretty much the same amount for all countries )

Great thing we can buy snus and have it shipped... :-)
