How many cans do you keep open?

I bought a 24 can sampler pack of portions on Northerner and have opened more than half. I don't see any harm in it, but don't know. I keep them in a ziploc in the fridge. Is this ok?

I've got 7 open right now, which is too many, but I haven't been able to resist, though I'm not opening the tin of Prima Fint until after I've gone through both the Ettan and the Gotland Yellow.

BTW bondzai, thanks for the info about the heat seal tea bags, I found some on eBay, a pack of 50 (which I guess I can turn into 200 minis) for a grand total of $4.55 including s/h.

I like the minis, as you said in another thread, for situations where one needs to be completely discreet, so I'm going to try to make some out of the Stark. But I'm getting a roll of the R&J Senoritas too, because they're so amazingly good.

I've managed to limit myself to 6, 2 loose and 4 portions. Would like to get the open cans down to 1 loose and 2 portions, but it's hard when you discover snus and want to try all the flavors. Keep all in the fridge when not using, haven't noticed any deterioration in the ones I've had open a couple weeks.

        teabag material

Actually, you might be able to get more out of them than that. Now that I have portions, I realize how they pack them tighter than bandits. That would be difficult to do the way I did it with a spoon imo. But with a primsaster, it should not be so bad. You would make the pris first, then inject it into a small bag and seal it tighter than a bandit to get the swedish style. Since trying the premade portions, I noticed I was making mine way too loose and had too much paper in my portion. Also, since you are going to be more or less just using the bag material, you can get larger bags. I lucked out and got 250 small bags for 13 bucks with shipping off ebay, but am curious about finding material itself.

I have a little container that slides in the door of my fridge exclusively for my snus. My wife likes it as it keep it all contained and rather "out of sight" (the container is opaque with a smi-transparent plastic lid). I keep 6 cans in there (they fit perfectly three wide, two high), Four portions two loose right now, although that ratio could change in the future.. as I'm getting more and more accustomed to using loose.
