I'd make a review myself, but I don't know yet what are the exact ingredients...

I was wondering how much nicotine this stuff has, seems pretty strong for a loose snus.

Do you guys like it!? I've been snusing this stuff for 3 days now and I quite like the texture and taste. It seems to have a little bergamot taste......

Which Phantom? Here's my impressions from awhile ago. I don't know if they've changed the recipe at all...

Classic - More lemon drop than bergamot, slightly sweet. I like it, but prefer more traditional Swedish snus

Blue - Lemon drop, with a splash of Pine Sol :^D Otherwise similar to the Classic.

Brown - My favorite of the line. It's like an unsmoked Grov, with a bit of Göteborgs Rapé mixed in. Subtle, and unoffensive. It makes a good primary snus that goes with everything.

In general, V2 snus seems stronger than other snus. It sometimes kicks my ass when my biorhythms are down. Not hugely stronger, but it's noticeable to me.

I pretty much always handbake V2 snus, as opposed to using my typical IceTool. The IceTool packs it too hard, and it's uncomfortable, so pinching, or baking is better imo.

Made in Silkeborg, Denmark by V2 Tobacco, Phantom Classic loose snus is classified as a coarse ground snus which means that the tobacco pieces are a bit larger than the fine grind type. This leaves the surface area of each piece larger and easier to mold into a prilla. Also, coarser ground snus tends to hold a prilla’s shape longer no matter if you use a tool or hand mold it. The first prilla we tested was made with a 3 ml tool and kept its shape for over 2 hours while the hand shaped prilla lasted a little less than 2 hours before it began to fall apart but the flavor could have lasted much longer! Each can of Phantom Classic loose contains 45 grams of snus with a Nicotine content of 8 mg per gram. The can is made of black plastic with the Phantom logo embossed in the glossy plastic lid but, enough about the can, let’s take a look at Classic loose’s flavor! Phantom Classic’s flavor is unique in the sense that unlike most of V2’s snus flavors, Phantom Classic has a relatively mild taste. V2 is pretty much known for their intense flavors but with Classic, the flavor is pretty mild tobacco and salt. The tobaccos that V2 uses in Phantom Classic give the snus an earthy, peaty taste and hints of herbs with a touch of sweetness. Even the saltiness that is common with Swedish snus is just a whisper in the background. Together, these flavors combine to make, what we feel, is a great starter loose snus for the new snus user looking for a tobacco flavored snus that’s not overpowering in taste and easy to mold but, we want to know what you think. V2 los is easy to handbake, one thing I like most about it.

I dig the classic. When I first started on the Phantom snuses they seemed sweet but as I got more acclimated to them the sweetness is not so prominent....except for the blue. That is one sweet snus...but gets herbal and juniperey at the end which has a good kind of bitter.

I think these snus are much better than when I tried them a yeaf and a half ago. The smell is better, the taste is less artifical and I like them better. Either they changed or I did.

I didn't wish to start a new thread and this find was as close a post to my query . Has the flavor of v2's blue lös been modified since most of the input was added to it's review? Just finished a recently purchased can and I can't relate at all.

That's what I keep reading and I agree with your combo. Problem is, I get a bold tootsie rollesque start (a-la brown), fade to faint juniper and a spicy end. I swear that can has blue writing.......I must be color-blind. Regardless, it's a dam good lös. Complex and moody, a little more in your face, but not unlike the qualities of Prima Fint.

And what's all this about windex??

I tried throughout the can to identify the initial smell and taste of blue. Mind(less) searching. Indirectly, this was what ended the misery. Kudos.
