I kind of said this already in my previous post but I dont think it made any sense.

People have been talking about coffee flavoured snus ever since snus became popular so either the manufacturer's have not been listening, or they tried that flavour and it didn't work and they gave up on it, or they tried and it didn't work and they are still trying to perfect it.

I'm not so big on flavoured snus anyway but I'm a sucker for an awesome can.

There's been a couple coffee flavored snuses. Catch used to have one, and V2's made one. I was told Rallarsnus was coffee flavored, but I never had that.

I remember arguing with sagedil about this a long time ago. He was an Elyxir martyr. It's hard to find the info now since it's off the market, but if someone has the specs from Northerner or the Rebel website about how much caffeine was in Elyxir please post it. It think it said 0.25 mg. Even if they were off by a whole decimal place, that is one third the amount in 1 Excedrin tablet. People used to say it was the taurine then, like there was this essential amino acid for cats that we just learned from Austrians in the 1990's actually upped the human alertness quotient by 150%.

I say have a strong snus and drink some strong coffee, but that's just me.

Not for me but I can see a 'smart snus,' being marketable. Lots of guarana, taurine caffeine etc and heaps of sugar and artificial flavours to mask the foul taste. Maybe less techno marketing and more ancient wisdom of the forest kind of thing, with some berry flavour from the amazon and a few vitamins. Maybe some hemp seeds for the Conquering Lion of Juda snus. Or a fish flavour snus with omega 3 to improve cognitive function. Oh, maybe a snus that also whitens your teeth and gives you fresh breath. Umm, Great Oak snus with something added that alludes to the idea that it improves sexual potency? Pro biotic/laxative snus that improves 'digestive transit'?

Honestly, I'd be all for a strict definition of what snus is, and not allow anyone that deviates from that definition to call their product snus. It would have to be labeled "smokeless tobacco product". Snus is...

            Tobacco
            salt
            water
            flavor
            humectants
            doesn't have sweetener
            deviating from history... pasteurized

Any product that doesn't meet the above description shouldn't be called snus.

I'd love to see a coffee snus available in stores soon.

Hmmm .... a los versions with a strong Arab Coffee flavor (wouldn't mind some milk or vanilla taste added to it) ... but it has to be los ... mmmmm that sounds tasty.....

Maybe V2 would be able to come out with something similar ... they did their job on the ol' coffee/vanilla portion snus.

I think I wouldn't drink any coffee either if I'd get the taste and caffeine from the snus..........

When I reviewed it way back when this was what I said about it. "Accoding to Northerner - in the portion there is 2.83 Mg of Taurine and 0.28 Mg of Caffeine in this snus"

And I think somebody said they had the wrong amount on there by a decimal place or something.

                      Exactly.

What about snus in a teabag to steep in your coffee? Joking of course.

Like others I prefer to keep the two separate. I'd give it a try but doubt I'd buy it regularly.

Yeah for me too. I have a bit of a ritual going on with the coffee drinking that i wouldn't want to be without.
