I wouldn't be surprised if IKEA would do such a thing. Their shops always offers typical Swedish goods (food, candy and such).

I actually believe it has been the coincidence - my mom (who is Swedish) once told me that she saw snus in an IKEA. It might have been in Sweden though ... and then it really wouldn't surprise me.

Soft Morning City......has just found Jesus if your Mom is right. I expect to see Soft Morning in church this sunday.

Dammit... I should have clarified. I meant in a United States Ikea store.

But alas, I didn't make the distinction. Maybe I best be gettin' out my Bible and start doin' some thumpin'.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Umm, what the hell is an Ikea store? It is it something like Fila? Oh, that is what I get for living out in the boonies! The joke was lost on me. I think Jesus is here though.

Aww man, Ikea is to Sweden what McDonalds and Coca-Cola is to America. Kinda like Volvo and Saab cars too except they're owned by Ford and GM.
                    *sigh*
                    Just Google "ikea".
Say you bought an empty pad somewhere and need furnishings, you just walk into an Ikea and order ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for inside the house right there. Down to the last fart, you'll find it there, and it'll all be delivered all neatly flat-packed for you to assemble.
By the time you're done in the place, you'll have read so many Swedish names, seen so much yellow and blue (their flag's colors) and eaten so many Swedish meatballs you won't be able to say the word Sweden anymore without gagging.

I should know. When I went off to study, my mom did this to me. Basically as a young dude, the last thing I wanted to do is worry about WTF I wanted inside my room. I would've been fine with some second hand sofa-bed and a beer crate for a night table, four more crates and a plank on top for a desk.
But no, she lovingly overloaded my room to the brim with everything Ikea (hey, it's one-stop-shop). Anyway, their stuff is sturdy too. 11 years later I still have most of the things.

I've never cared much for IKEA (there's one right down the street from me), but my friends love their stuff. I've never had the meatballs, but I always get a hotdog whenever I go there...not very Swedish, I guess. :P

I like how every thing they sell has the Swedish name printed on it, and the assembly instructions for the furniture look similar to prismaster instructions......crude drawings and strange languages.

It kinda worked on me, but being a Englishman it didn't excite me in quite the same way.

Damn! I was excited since I've thought about how cool it would be if they actually did that! The CEO or President (don't know what term they're using) of Ikea is a snuser, I've heard.
