Snus Price Increases Are Getting Ridiculous......

I've been watching the prices of snus at Northerner and Buysnus for a month now. Everytime I turn around it seems the prices are changing......and they almost NEVER go down. Its not on every brand/flavor but apparently all the prices are going up little by little. Even the shipping is creeping up the last few weeks. As I do these auctions I am reallying keeping a close tab on the pricing. This is just my observation at this time. Whats going on?? Its bad enough that we have to pay thru the nose because of PACT. You just can't depend upon the prices anymore. Even when it says one price when you clik on it to order the snus sometimes the price in the checkout is more. I have been buying a lot of snus lately for the auctions and I keep having to adjust the prices. Luckily, because I am still fine toothing my auctions, and checking current prices, I'm able to hold my prices or in some cases lower them. I'm doing the best that I can for the members. Basically, you get the roll price but only have to buy 5 tins, I add about $10 for the shipping and taxes to me plus the minimal shipping cost to you. I'm still saving you $.

and beyond that, they naturally adjust for inflation. Inflation being much larger than most think. Somewhere like 10% a year. But the SEK compared to the USD is 3/4 of what it used to be.

I agree PP, The Northerner's prices have been going up steadily as of recently. Sad that my Onyx went from around $4.50 USD to right about $5 per can now. I guess I need to find start-up money and start my own on-line snus shop

I'll be using Northerner to order dip..... some of my favorite brands and in a while put a small snus order in ..

buy 200 cans in one go (that would be $600 - $800) plus the trip cost $200 ..... = $1000

Imagine that I pay double on northerner for the same amount of snus.

it was buysnus that I was referring to when I said that the price is different between the advertized price and the cart. Their prices can go up even as you are in the middle of a transaction. Before about 2 1/2 weeks ago buysnus had click snus for under $22, then it went to about $25, yesterday it went to $29.53. Thats just one random example.

I do alot of price checking. Northerner is selling 100% within government guidelines. They adhere to all taxes and such and uses the same UPS delivery system [as buysnus] and give alot of deals/sales. Buysnus doesn't charge the taxes [yet]and doesn't usually have much on sale, but when you make mock orders with both outfits the prices end up being nearly the same. I think buysnus is taking advantage of Northerner selling per government requirements and buysnus is making a killing because of it. Either way you have to buy at least 6 or 8 rolls to get each roll at a reasonable price, no matter where you buy it from.

When I order snus that I can only get at buysnus thats where I have to get it from. If its available from northerner I always buy it from them. I believe Northerner is the good guy here. At least they are trying to conduct business the proper way.

If you aren't going to buy several rolls the get best price including shipping, the auctions here on snuson are actually your best deal. Especially if you live in banned or high tax states. And the shipping is always quick.

I ordered another 120 tins [some cheap and some expensive snus] yesterday and the total was $350 including shipping and such.
