Well, I had one can of Pioneer on the Northerner order I'm putting in this morning, but it looks like I'll just have to drop the Probe Whiskey lös and add a second can.

I'd make it more, but I don't want to drop Gellivare and Landströms, which believe it or not I haven't tried yet.

I haven't tried those either, and I got them along with the Pioneer, but they are in the freezer now, I want to finish either the Pioneer or my already opened before I got the Pioneer, General Loose, before I open another can.

Well I can only hope the dog and I share the same tastes in los. I like this stuff more than I should. I will say that the closest I can come to describing it is that it is like taking a chaw of pure tobacco. Simple straight slightly salty pure leaf tobacco. No distracting flavor added, just tobacco goodness. I really like the taste of tobacco, and this Laotian tobacco was happy.

I think if a new item is going to be successful, it has to be, 1. Good, and 2. distinct. And Pioneer Snuff is both of those. It truley is good, I think very good, and it is distinct, it has a totally different natural smell and taste compared to the other popular los brands. Granted, I have not tried them all, but I have had the big names, General, Ettan, Grov, and some V2, and I think I had Skruf los...

The only thing that bothers me is this is more of the "Clay-like" lös snus... or so it appears from the pics I've seen and I would prefer something more along the lines of Kardus as I've kinda turned away from lös lately for that very reason.

From what I've heard a lot of tobacco companies watch those who do sell long cut snus, such as V2 to see how it performs, and from the 2 other companies I've talked to they said their isn't enough of a market or interest (outside of America) to do a full scale long-cut (Kardus style/OR style) release.

I finally broke open a can of this. It was really good. I don't use a lot of lös but this stuff is great. It is definitely distinct and a great new addition to lös. I'll definitely be ordering more of this.

I got a can of this from chad awhile back. This is some good stuff. The texture and taste is great. Goes good with coffee

This stuff is really pretty good. Think Ettan minus the smoke, and with just a bit less salt. If you're looking for something natural and mostly unflavored, here you go.

Pretty much a spot on review! I really am enjoying this one. This is exactly what I want a plain tobacco snus los to taste like. I too would characterize it as like Ettan but better. I love the reduced salt. I have had this Prilla in for two hours now, its still good. Better that Ettan? Well, yes.

Laz that is pretty spot on. The grind is more in lines with Prima. However, the moisture is different (or maybe it is the moisture is the same and the grind is a bit more substantial). Regardless, I do not get the mud/dissolve that I get with a Prima. Thus the grind though a factor may not be as big a factor.................still I would have loved a bit more coarseness.

Speaking of Prima.................to me the flavor is like Prima deepened and kicked up a few notches . It is bold and rich with a nice deep note yet without being over the top like say a Knox

IMO this is a very good snus, well behaved, and well worth an order
