Odens Black Gold, new branding for the classic

Not sure if this was mentioned. I did a search and didn't see it. I was making an order with snus2 and seen they were offering Odens Black Gold los. I did inquire what the Black Gold was all about, basically its just rebranding the classic.

Here is what Linus Forsberg @ Snus2 had to say.

"Odens black gold is actually the replacement for oden original and is supposed to be similar in taste. It has average nicotine content: 8 mg/ gram."

Looks to have different design as well. It will be in my order that i shall have complete probably by the days end. Once received there will be a review.

its a very subtle tobacco taste in my opinion. I dig it. @ the price they (snus2) sell it for.. NO. Wait till Northerner, Buysnus or what ever vendor you frequent to change the format.

We all know Odens was made by V2 in Denmark, yet Odens 69 Dry White was made in Sweden GN Tobacco. Odens is owned by Gajane. Now, this new can says "Made in Sweden", so..... this makes me wonder, is this new LOS being made in Sweden at the GN Tobacco factory, instead of at V2???

Oden's 69 is a GN product made by the GN folks. I think it's just GN using the Oden's name.
I have a can of the new los on the way so I'll be sure to post pics. I also have an email in to my contacts at Gajane and GN so I'll find out sooner or later who's making the new Oden's product as well.

This might be a fermented LOS, which doesn't bother me, it makes me curious. But because it distinctly says "Made in Sweden" on the label, I don't think it's made in Denmark. And who in Sweden has made Oden's? GN Tobacco.
