    Never twice in a row.

Thats my general rule for snus. Coming from a person who discovered fine cigars (no not white owls ) first, before I knew what snus even was, I was used to never smoking the same cigar twice in a row. It gets old, and if you do it too much youll get tired of a perfectly good cigar.
With snus, I feel it is the same concept. I'll put in a portion of Jakobsson's, but after I'll use about anything BUT Jakobsson's. I find this is a good way to rotate, and keeps the flavor of each snus refreshing and new instead of constantly the same.
But what about you? Do you have a brand you just use everyday to no fail, and wouldnt dare use something different at that point during the day? Or maybe you use two different snus, one after the other respectively? I'm interested in hearing what you all do.

I used to use Gotlands Gul all day. I would change it up every now and then but I love that snus. All day every day. Made me happy...

Now I am mixing it up but I think Phantom brown is my new brand...with a tin of Phantom blue every so often.....for now.

I typically keep 3 cans open at any given time. One is a more traditional snus, on is minty, and one is usually a fruity or unique flavor that I'm trying out. I love trying new flavors but as for daily rotation, i keep it between a mint and a traditional, more specifically, general white and offroad frost. I'm more likely to rotate brands and flavors after each can rather than each individual portion.

I have about 18+ cans open in my snus fridge at any given time, and I rotate alot. Some I use several times a day, some a few times a week or less. I always have a daily go to, which I carry around with me when I leave the house or for work. Lately I have been using click white or ettan portions for carry around snus, and skruf OP for work. I use these back to back untill I return home and put them back in the fridge, where I will then use other snus while I'm home.

When I get a new snus in, I like to really experience it by using it continuously for a day or so, until I get a good taste for it, and uncover its undertones and subtle flavors. This process is what helps me decide to make it a carry around, regular rotation, or once in a while snus.

I will usually get bored with my carry around after using it for a while, and will switch it up with another snus, but click white has been my daily go to for over two weeks straight now, for some reason I don't seem to be getting bored with it.

I am with you on cigars though, while I do keep a few of my favorites in my humidor, I never smoke a repeat, and usually will wait a week before enjoying the same kind again, except for mini cigars, I do smoke tatiana smalls every night almost, but I do switch up the flavors, of course they are more of a novelty cigar than anything else.

I like to switch it up for variety as well. I have my staples ie Ettan Los, Gen Mint etc. It's allways nice to throw other things in the mix. Kinda like jelly belly's

Gotlands Gul? I have never seen that on the Northerner. Is it something we US people can't get or is it hard to find? I'v never even heard of Gotlands Gul myself actually prior to this.

Nicodude, you are my hero. Have you ever had a Winston Chirchill Spitfire? It is an AMAZING go to small cigar that does NOT sacrifice flavor or strength for it's size. I love them. 20 bucks for five of them actually.

Wrath, I like to have a varity of flavors, but I dislike anything minty. Usually I have more base tastes, original blends and stuff like that. Fruity snus and minty stuff doesent appeal to me, and if I even detect any kind of sweetness in a snus thats over powering, like Jakobsson's strong portions are to me, I can' use that snus very often.

Eric, I just ordered ettan Los from Northerner, as well as an Icetool from a fellow member here. I am SO going to enjoy it.

I don't believe I have tried the spitfire, but I will look for them next time I go to the tobacconist. I love little cigars, you still get to smoke a cigar when you don't have alot of time.

Far as gotland gul, it was discontinued by the manufacturer, which was shocking as it was their flagship brand, and a very popular one at that, luckily I still have a few cans on hand.

I don't like minty snus either, it was all I used in the beginning but now I just can't stomach it, didn't care much for the icefruit either, but I do like blue ocean, straight tobacco flavor with a cooling menthol.

At this point I use General Onyx daily with the occasional Jakobsson's WG or Thunder Frosted Long+ thrown into the mix. Now when I am at home, I usually mix it up between a few different los and a few portions through out the day/night. I really wanna use los at work, but sitting in an ICU I just don't think its healthy for me and my snus to sit at my desk bake a prilla and in my mouth it goes. I do follow universal precautions and whatnot and wash my hands constantly. I just fear some superbug landing in there and am I get uber sicko.

Its that good...I usually use sterk portions and mostly ES los...Ettan is a nice laid back los. Since 1822 no wonder its still #1.

I did a lot of experimenting when I first started, but now only use Nick and Johnny Strong all day every day. I get my variety from snuff, which I do switch up a bit although I find myself using Tom Buck 80% of the time.

I have my favorite snus .... (around 7 - 8 cans open at all times)

but I'll change my habit and keep at most two cans open.... a los can and a portion can....

I think I've had enough time to test quite a few varieties and I can go with .... lets say General Extra Sterk Los for a week and then change to Skruf Stark Los for another week and so on .........

I can see myself coming to this point in due time. I think my taste in mint comes from my previous use of dip. Anymore, if I had to choose though, I would easily pick a more traditional tobacco flavor. When I first started, the majority of the snus I ordered was mint. Now, it's the opposite. From what other members have said, it seems to be common to start using more "non-flavored" snus. As for the fruity flavors, I haven't really tried too many since they typically don't appeal to me. However, I'd love to try a pure lime snus. I have a slight obsession with lime flavors. I did try the Olde Viking Ginger Lime but I didn't care for it at all.
