LongBoat Key is kind of a nice area. No Skruf Cranberry tho.
So I tried to get someone to switch to snus...

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

At least he is off the smokes for now, so I suppose its all for the best.

Long answer...I saw them at Ozzfest ten years ago or so and that was my first real exposure to them I have heard some of their stuff on the radio but I really never judged from that. What gets released on the radio is not always the best thing to judge a band from. From what i have experienced, their style isn't my cup of tea per se....but I haven't heard a lot of their stuff....but I never really felt compelled to persue it. And, in a friendly way, the singer is a little whiny live.

Fair enough, I'm going to see them in Orlando 5/21...
Anywhos, while I have tried to covert this and that person, I have had limited success with two. One of them signed up here as NikkieLove, a close friend of mine. She tried snus before when I would let her try a General Mint White portion or two and she told me that it made her sick. Well after I finally quit smoking and exclusively snusing she decided she wanted to quit with snus. I ordered her a couple of cans of Felinni by V2 soon to be Offroad Minis. I had a break through...since I gave her the snus she has smoked maybe 5-6 cigarettes in a week span. She is still struggling with triggers like driving, being at a bar, etc etc. But she is confident that snus will be the way.
The other success was with the bouncer at a bar I frequent. He usually dips and asked me one night what was it that I was putting in my lip. I showed him the can of Onyx I had and offered him a portion. He was blown away and said that he like this is so much better than dip. Since then he told me next order I place he wants a few cans. I can't wait to go back up there after my 7 day stint at work to offer him a prilla of General ES los. He will be sold after that.
The one failure I had was with my brother...I went to see him when he graduated from basic and "Turned Blue". I offered him a piece of Onyx and he was like, I don't like this I'd rather just throw a pinch in and forget about it. Oh well, I won't give up completely on him yet.

LoooL I was about to faint from two portions of General Extra Stark. I guess anyone that hasn't had snus before would feel sick when they try it for their first time. My brother hasn't been snusing all that much but he stills feels sick from any snus (portion or los) ...... and he has tolerance to nicotine ... he's a pack a day smoker

I do have some regular portions and los for when I feel I need to change it up, but in the end I stick to strong snus.
even though I can't use sterks on regular basis even now after almost a year of using snus.......
Maybe General ES Portions are just a little too strong for me.....
I can tolerate 2 or 3 per day but more than that will make me sick and gives me nausea.
