Thunder berry is kinda dry and smooshed?

    Hello all,

I am a new snuserer. In my last order, I got some of the Thunder ES Berry (in the red can). I just opened it about 10 minutes ago. THey are not past expiration and were not previously frozen, but were in the fridge. They seem not wet nor dry.. they are all stuck togeter in the can and kinda smooshed down (for lack of a better term). Is this the norm for thunder? I was expecting them to be more moist and not less smooshed...lol

Sorry... newbie question and just want to make sure it is the norm.

Frazz - this, you will find, is quite common with Thunder portions. They use to be unusually wet as well - but clumped together - normal. be gentle as you peel them apart, don't want to rip the portions.

Never had Berry, but this is how all my original are. I have come to like them more this way rather than dripping wet. Also when you pull the apart, count them and you may notice a few bonus portions.

Cool.. had to be sure. Although I tasted them anyways...lol They have a strong berry flavor... Loving it! Some of the other ones with lingdon (sp??) berries listed as an ingredient have a very mild berry taste, this one I could get hooked on.

Yeah smooshed is awesome. Granit portions are usually all clumped together like that and soaking wet. One reason I love that snus.

It is normal for Thunder to be pressed together as was said above. Question: How long was it in the refrigerator? If you are going to keep snus for a while before you use it you are better off putting it in the freezer in a ziploc bag. It will stay more moist that way.

Since we're talking about freezing them. Probably an obvious and stupid question but when you're ready to use it, do you just let it thaw in your mouth? (do the portions actually freeze/become hard?) Also, how long can they last past the expiration date if in the freezer.

Some people thaw them out before using. When I need a fresh can it comes out of the freezer and straight in my lip. Sealed up and frozen snus will last many years IMO.
