I haven't been around for a while but was just greeted with the fact that both Northerner and BuySnus can no longer ship snus from the EU to the EU

I guess the review of the tobacco directives went against us

Our only hope of getting snus seems to now be to order from Northerner's US warehouse but the customs side of that worries me greatly

A sad, sad day for EU snusers

Northerner have an announcement on their website and BuySnus have reconfigured their site so that you can no longer order EU-EU.

From what I remember of the UK members that have ordered from Northerner's US warehouse it's hit and miss. Sometimes it gets through, other times Customs sting you with a big bill.

I overheard some local news report the other day about a cigarette smuggling ring-Chinese mafia I believe it was-getting busted, something like 750,000 cartons worth $5 million. After making the bust, their search also found large amounts of narcotics.

Don't really know what I'll do now, risk it with Customs ordering from the US or go back to trying and failing to quit with NRT and smoking on and off. David Cameron will be well pleased with getting the cig sales back after putting a pack of 20 up to £7 after the budget the other day

Options then? Order from States, get a friend in Sweden to post some over? I wonder if snus will now get seized at customs?
