Good work G.N, I have bookmarked the site and will place an order when you are up and running.
Looking forward to the sample of extreme. I use Makla, so don't find the strength so scary. I guess a little goes a long way.

Northerner struck lucky with the U.S warehouse, I guess everyone else is out of the game for a while if Swedish customs continue to refuse exit/export. I guess this doesn't look promising for the review of the TPD, but I keep my fingers crossed.

The EU fat cats are not elected by anyone and sit in Brussels and think up stupid laws that effect all of us.

It makes one feel so helpless, is there nothing that anyone can do? Perhaps a petition I wonder if that would help? I think I will set up a petition on my site and at least feel like I'm doing something...damn it makes me angry all over again!!

I called the UK Customs and Excise department today to clarify a few things. So yes definitely if you physically purchase tobacco in another EU country (as long as its not from the duty free shops in the airports) you have already paid the correct duty. You are allowed to bring backup upto 3KG of tobacco that is approx 65 cans of loose snus or 124 cans of 24g portion cans. A can of snus lasts me approx 2 or 3 days. So in theory I could get 6 or 7 months supply of snus in 1 trip. I will continue to order from Northerner's american store, but I want to continue to get those other brands such as Skruf, Odens, Lucky Strike, Blå etc.

thanks for letting us know :^)

who knows some exact prices of snus in Sweden? At least some of the famous brands (LOS)

I would normally pay 160 EUROS for a round trip to Stockolm from Bucharest...... and probably another 160 EUROS for 65 cans of loose snus.

That would be roughly 5 EUROS on average per can, not that bad .... 65 cans would last me exactly one year.

320 EUROS for a habit isn't that expensive either and we get to see Sweden as well once in a while. Maybe we can meet up there sometime and go for snus shopping

                  loooool

Hi precious007 and everyone else. I am a passive member of this society, only posted once or twice myself but I read what you guys write here.. i am kind of 007 myself in a sense...
Well, what happened last Sat. is a disaster, I am sooooo disappointed.
Anyway, regarding round trips to Stockholm and a shopping tours: Ryanair does have a Stockholm connection from Riga, where i live, but they are flying to Skavsta airports which is NOT Stockholm, it is literally in middle of a forest, a former airbase. I never used this airport myself but it is something like 100 away from Stockholm with its specialized tobacco shops. Both Ryanair and Wizz don't go to Arlanda, Stockholm's international airport. I flew to Arlanda on my last Stockholm visit and train fare from airport to city was ridiculous. These expenses have to be factored in too! I did stock up however at a small shop in the old town. Price for a single tin was around 50 swedish crowns I believe, don't remember how rolls were priced.
I would love to join your shopping tour guys and get to know some of you closer. For now i'll wait and see what GN comes up with, there will be a solution in the end I hope. BTW: I am down to 5 tins in fridge which should last me another 2 weeks, what's then is a big big unknown.

                      Hey Jan!

But have you considered taking a ferry from Riga to Stockholm, as far as I know Tallink ferries are sailing there too?

We can start a thread for all E.U users that want to make a meet up in Stockolm somewhere :^) and join the shopping

Snus in Sweden wasn't much, I paid 25$ US for a roll of Lucky Strike White pretax.

That's pretty cheap .... $2.5 per can for Lucky Strike?

I've heard that the average price per tin is 4 EURO - 5 EURO can anyone from Sweden confirm it ?

looks like attention is being drawn away from things that really do matter. If they used the same strength to address the issues of poverty, corruption in some of the member states life would be much better for. sounds to me though somebody lacks the mental capabilities to deal with real issues and smokeless tobacco is being made a scape goat right now.
