Khalid here is the thing- IN TOBACCO WORLD THERE IS ONE IMPORTATNT THING pay your tobacco taxes and sleep well, and the 2 thing is GN and Gajanes products to every body in the WHOLE BIG AND BUTIFULL WORLD , the first we do and . The second is our main point now and belive me we sort it out for our produkts to EU.Now to the quastion you pointed EU WILL lift ban 2014 we think Goverment of Sweden is the 1 or 2 contributor to EU we don't belive that Baroso want to make sad Bigest contributor .

I am pleased to hear you are optimistic about the lifting of the ban. I hope you are right. I think Sweden is ranked 9th with regards financial contribution to E.U, though political clout may well be disproportionate to contributions.

Am I right in thinking that here in the UK, our only option *at the moment* is to order through Northerner, but from their US warehouse, and take a risk on customs?

I tend to think that with Capital in a bit of a fix now, all (real or fictional) health and social welfare concerns are secondary to capital accumulation. Snus is a potentially huge business globally, so maybe big tobacco will win the argument. How the EU sells this to the public...?

He wasn't told to stop shipping in the EU so it's his speculation and mine as well that the reason other webstores are doing the same is that this is voluntary (playing it safe).

That sounds too good to be true, but one can hope!

The way the webshops handled this until now (just ceasing the EU-shipments without any explanation or information given to the customers - somehow pretending to have never shipped to the EU) is just too extreme in my eyes to be a voluntary measure.

I've found some other small Swedish Webshops, who apparently haven't heard about a ban either when checking my collection of snusshop-weblinks, old-established shops, with a good reputation and independent from Northerner or Buysnus, but I don't think that this has much to say. Perhaps they just couldn't contact their webdesigners yet to update the shipping-infos.

To sum up what I think and feel, well, I'm checking flight-opportunities to Sweden and search the Swedish online yellow pages for tobacco-shops in smalltowns nearby cheap-flight-airports and I'm not sure if I should laugh, cry or puke.

Luckily I still have 2 months worth of snus on hand, so it's not urgent.

I see that you guys are trying to set up something - I'll hold fire until then, I guess.

I'm bummed because I've only ever really used SM products. Guess I'll have to acquire a new taste for something else at this rate.

And in the meantime I'm going to have to start smoking again to help ration what little snus I do have left.

Can you believe I was about to place an order tonight, and came on here to check some reviews for some los I was wanting to try, and saw this thread and just freaked.
