Haha. I'm not 100% sure, but I think "gumman" is like "sonny" and "Pippi" is a famous Astrid Lindgren character.

That's right. I dont't know exactly how it works, but I've successfully gotten 4 rolls and few cans from america (but not in one parcel of course) and... nothing. The custom service every time stamped the envelope: "admitted to trading" or something like this. We;ll see- I'm waiting for roll of Grov now.

The point of sale is essential in tax matters. If you buy it within the EU, you pay the tax of that country at the point of sale - in this case Sweden.
If you buy outside of the EU you don't pay tax but upon customs getting a hold of it, they'll charge you the duty of your country plus any handling charges.

Here's the reply from Nigel Farages office:

                Dear Mr ******

Thank you for letting Mr Farage know about the EU's latest restriction on tobacco - picking on one of its most innocuous forms - no doubt to reduce the viability of Swedish manufacturers and to discourage snussers who live, or travel, outside Sweden, while preserving the impression, in Sweden, that the EU respects and protects Swedish national customs!

The Society of Snus-makers has an e-mail address swedishsnus@swedishmatch.se for advice on how to obtain their products outside Sweden. See also their website at https://www.swedishmatch.com/en/Glob...-Swedish-snus/

It may be that you can import via the Channel Islands or Isle of Man - which are not in the EU - although it may also be that these Crown Dependencies have succumbed, like Quisling's Norway, to colluding in the EU's ban.

However this may be, the legal situation is certainly not going to improve. Once the EU's iron jaws close on one of our freedoms, they cannot be prised open again. They must be smashed. UKIP wields the hammer. Thank you for your support!

                Yours sincerely

                Andrew S. Reed

I was thinking about Isle of Man a while before, but for tax reasons..

                    but how to import them?

I think I will stick to the US warehouse for a while... and trades here on snuson..

By the way, for E.U users buying from the US warehouse ends up much cheaper.... at least for Romanians..... (the taxes are very low) you'd pay a couple of bucks extra for a $100 order.

There's nothing we can do. We can leave it in UKIPs lap and see if they can add it to their armoury for future parliamentary sessions.

All we can do is import from outside the EU. So - I hope there are going to be more companies to order from than Northerner - I put in an order with Northerner on Sunday - it hasn't shipped. It's the first order I've put in with Northerner for a year and I'm already getting the hee bee gee bees. If it doesn't ship soon, I can't do business like that so I'll either have to give up snus or change from Frosted to another brand. Buysnus ships within a couple of hours.

Looks like Odens could well be on the cards.

                        1) or you can also order snus fron the U.S warehouse and some
                        other online tobacco shops .....

                        2) Buy snus from the auctions that PP is running over here on
                        snuson .......

                        3) or take a short trip to sweden once a year :^) and spend a couple
hundred euros per year for both the shipping and the snus. You get to
                        see sweden this way too

I never had issues with Norther not SHIPPING the package, the problem
was on the other side after it was shipped .... anyways we can't really
know if the package is shipped or not when they say "SHIPPED" lol ...

Frosted, since I've started snus, I've been a nic junkie before with smoking
but never stocked up cigarette packs, but with snus since I don't have it in
my local stores ... I have to have a considerable and variety stash
                        in the freezer.....

damn the swedes are lucky :^)

MaKe WeBo should open up a warehouse in the US. Northerner is their only competitor and they have a warehouse here.

I know you guys are reading this... Are you really going to let your competition one-up you like that?

crap. I was hoping that things would work out for the EU members. If you can't find another way to get your beloved snus let me know.

                            with that said........

you might want to check out the latest post here. This may help some of you out.
                            http://www.snuson.com/forum/showthre...EE-TIN-FROM-PP!!

sorry for posting that again. since this EU thing started this site has been flooded with people, members and non-members alike, and this thread is getting very long. I'm told that a lot of people don't know there are auctions or custom orders as a possible option for getting their snus.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Given proximity to Sweden and legal flexibility, a Russian online snus store should be on the cards. No?

Hopefully they can sell product cheap enough to make chancing U.K customs worthwhile. I still do not have a clear picture of what charges will be levied on snus import to the U.k and given this is the case, I can imagine a scenario as we have seen in Canada, where the customs gays are not sure either and will add on taxes unpredictably.

Do we even know that it is an EU directive? Sounds more like SM have put the squeeze on vendors because of a lawsuit. That response from UKIP just sounds like the usual reactionary nonsense from a bunch of narrow-minded insecure Little Englanders.
