Yes, but sadly, as far as we know, that's what happened. That said, let me explain what I think happened precisely, and I do know a thing or two about international law.

From what we heard, World Wide Snus AB had their assets frozen. This would, as far as I know, only happen if a court in Finland had ordered this and requested a Swedish court to carry this order out. In such cases, there is very little the Swedish court could have done. International law states that, provided the correct procedures were used, the request cannot be denied. This is very much the same as what happened to Julian Assange. The UK had no choice but to agree to extradite him. And appealing the decision in Sweden wouldn't help either. Worldwide Snus AB will have to fight this in Finnish courts (and good luck with that).

It stands to reason that somebody in the Swedish judicial system relayed information about this case, through Swedish March or whatever other means, to Northerner, Buysnus and other sellers. There may even have been an official, government-issued statements warning other sellers about it. Now, what happens to a company that has their assets frozen? It goes belly-up. Unable to pay bills, salaries or acquire new merchandise, it straight-out kills you financially. World Wide Snus AB may eventually win in court, but they're ****ed regardless, their business is gone and they'll be lucky if they escape bankruptcy. Given this information, can you blame those other shops for immediately suspending sales to the EU?

I dunno..... I have been trying to think of something you guys could do to show the number of people that not only use snus but those of you that have quit smoking thru snus use.
