It has been a terrible shock - I've been in a right mood since which is why I'm trying to cheer myself up here. There should be ways of getting snus well into the future. Companies will adapt - they will move their distribution centres - I don't think that snus will ever be made illegal, therefore countries like Russia who don't give and never will give a flying f*** about banning snus will always be there to base a distribution warehouse.

Thanks Chad. Loved the goat.
no........I mean.....I REALLY love the goat.
just sayinGrant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I use snus for about 3 and a half years now, but only now do i wonder:
whats the reason for all those effort to make it illegal or at least ban it from most shops outside sweden?
I read alot about health impact, and that it's alot "healthier" than smoking. So why is it unwanted?
is it the smoke tobacco industry and/or the countries relying on cigarette taxes?
Is it anti-smoking foundations afraid of loosing their right of existence due to people switching to snus?
Maybe someone can tell me..
Also is this free-sample GN Tobacco offer still valid? i tried to contact via mail, got a response with the request of my snuson nickname, but nothing happened so far after my response two days ago...
not that big of a deal since im going to order once the site is only anyway, just wanted to check that out
Greetings from Germany

Welcome Kutzi,
Nobody knows for sure what's going on. There was some legal challenge relating to a snus company selling to Finland which seems to have scared other snus companies enough to stop selling.
I don't believe that this is the whole story though - it's all very vague right now. Nobody has come out with a formal statement.
There is no news that snus is all of a sudden extremely hazardous to your health either - it's not going to be that anyway. That's certain.

I am not sure what was exactly Churchill's star preference (age of Armenian brandy is measured in stars, corresponding to years), for me it is always 3 and 5 star bottles.

Churchill adored both actually and whiskey too. The only thing that makes him different from me is the fact that Winston was a cigar smoker and I was/am a snuser. He had to smoke in his back garden occasionally because I could not stand all that smoke.
Not kidding at all...
